GIVI S250Kit Universal Kit to Install Tool Box

Item is perfect match with the box. Set up time was around 30mins. Fit was good but some areas is a little tight and some adjustments are needed to get certain bits to get into place. But overall a well constructed product that is functional with the existing pannier frame. And overs a good fit inside the bike for a secure hold. Value - probably the cheapest I found was here on Amazon so I can not complain for the price.

This is quiet an expensive accessory. And it must be noted that the fitting kit must be purchased separately to the box. It's good though and has a lock fitted. Not had chance to see it it is waterproof yet. Also note that if fitting to a Triumph Tiger 800 with the Givi made pannier racks you must position the top two brackets vertically by slackening the top clamp for the pannier - to allow the brackets to be bolted in place. NOT as per the Givi instructions that come with the fitting kit. Look on You Tube for fitting videos.

NOT “Universal” and not even as described. I have the PLO5143CAM frame on my BMW R1300GS and I assumed the description of the Kit fitting a PL__CAM frame would be ok. No. The left side bracket didn’t match the frame and the Tool Box was hitting the top of the frame. I had to lower the kit by cutting 25mm off the bottom brackets and drilling new holes. Then the plastic cover wouldn’t fit so that had to be trimmed. BUT – all now looking good and solid. Givi make good stuff, but their descriptions and crazy codes are a nuisance.

My motorcycle was on the list as 100% compatible for this tool box. Well it wasn’t, almost returned it but then get my angle grinder a drill to work and finally fit it and is safe to ride. Like the quality but a bit pricey…

Excellent kit fitted well only downside is the price this has to be the most expensive bike tool box I’ve ever bought

it does what it says it does, they are really good for the tool kit and tyre repair stuff

After fitting brackets to bike the box would not fit behind bracket.very disappointed not enough information on what bikes they fit.

Bolts right on without mods.

All good and I received it very quickly.

Ottimo supporto, acquistato per staffe GIVI PL ONE-FIT installate su una Guzzi V85TT. Facile il montaggio, (anche grazie alle istruzioni ben progettate) sembra molto robusto. Da abbinare alla Toolbox GIVI S250 (da acquistare a parte), accessorio indispensabile per portare con se qualche attrezzo e non occupare spazio utile all'interno delle valigie.
