Superb value for money and durable, reliable quality
Have owned for 2 years now. Has been very durable camping in very high winds with lashing rain on several occasions. The TBS system is not a gimmick and really keeps the tent very stable without affecting living space and the ventilation scoops can be closed to keep the tent a little warmer on those windy, late summer occasions. It is well made and surprisingly liveable for an agile couple. It is very well made, please take the reviews in here about it being flimsy or poorly made with a large pinch of salt - it is obvious that they have little experience of tents. The tent featureA a quality 70 denier nylon and a polyethylene ( thick woven plastic!) bathtub. All pegging points are THICK straps and webbed at the bottom to add structural stability and prevent stretching. The stitching is good quality. I notice that a reviewer on here, calls it ‘cheap flimsy rubbish’ - which could not be further from the truth. The ONLY downside are the fibreglass poles. They appear quite thin and feeble at first, but what I must say is that they seen much suppler than my other 12 year old Vango tent and not nearly as fragile. It used to be quite common for these types of poles to maintain a curvature after first use, whereas these poles remain flat even after multiple uses, so it seems that the fibreglass composition technology has improved in this time. The only other cheap factor is the ring and pin pole system at each anchor point... but tbh this makes the tent bulletproof - instead of plastic parts that may shear, warp or snap, the solid steel alloy rings and pins ( to insert into the pole ends) are literally unbeatable. Whilst this may indeed be a feature seen on cheaper tents it by no means means that it is a cheap design - it’s just a cost effective, no frills choice that is actually bulletproof as opposed to plastic parts with eyelets and grommets which DO break eventually. The fact that this Vango quality tent is available right now for just over £80 is a great deal and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Ignore the other reviews, including the guy who said the guy line tensioner were put on wrong at the factory - he’s simply pulled the wrong part of the guy line through the tensioner! If you are a younger couple wanting a decent weekend tent for car camping or an older person such as myself using it for car camping, this tent is great quality. It’s simply a continuation of their Beta 250 and Omega 250 designs that they have been making for years and represents amazing value. Get it!

At the price it's good.
It's a good tent for the price, but not really built for bullet proof adventures; for that you need to buy the Vango Omega version and pay a lot more. But, it has all the design features of the more expensive version and will suit occasional campers. The instructions are inadequate and there's no You Tube guide to pitching the tent, so I used Vango's website to ask how the poles seat at ground level. They sent a PDF within hours explaining the pin system. You also need to know to slack off the tapes at the base of the poles on first use otherwise you could overstretch the fabric and tear seams. The inner tent is more intuitive to arrange, but these days why wouldn't you just make a movie to show best practice? Anyway, it's roomy, you can sit in a chair in the porch, the bedroom is big and cosy and it has lots of frills like windows, insect grids, vents etc. At the price it's good. Ideal for occasional days away or for a test of your camping convictions before you buy something more serious.

Brilliant Tent
Lush spacious tent for two or three at a push. Great storage space. Warm cozy inner bedroom. Love that the inner room compartment keeps you dry and warm, away from the condensation on thr walls. This tent stood up to two days of heavy rain and wind. Perfect tent, dry seams, well made, easy to put up. Top tip, leave inner attached when packing away. Easier to erect next outing. Love this product. Bought on prime day sale so a real bargain. Looking forward to many many trips.

Cheap & Flimsy Rubbish
Dreadful. I was told that Vango made good tents and when I saw this for the price I got excited thinking I was buying from a quality manufacturer. Turns out this tent is no better - in fact worse - than the cheap £20 tent I bought. The first erection brought the loops that hold the pegs ripping away without hardly any tension on them. The stitching around the door also came away instantly. The whole thing feels cheap and tacky it definitely is not built to last. The poles are no better than a cheap Argos tent. Rubbish. Very unimpressed and because I didnt use it until last month I am now unable to get a refund.

Brilliant tent
Have used this tent for two weekends of camping now and I’ve found it brilliant, perfect for my needs as I don’t like how two person tents never seem to have enough space to store bags. This has a porch area which is really handy and means the bedroom area isn’t too cramped. Managed to fit a double air bed in the bedroom area and it was really comfy. Not too bright on a morning but could be darker. Haven’t tested it out in rain yet but the material seems good and hopefully will hold up. Compared to some of the tents I have seen this is great value for money! I’d recommend for someone like me who likes to go camping on the odd weekend :)

Tent for good price
A spacious tent with a porch, useful in rainy weather. I used the tent in very rainy and windy weather. Nothing got wet above the bedroom, but there was some water in the vestibule. Nevertheless, I recommend it. Good price.

Nice tent
Really spacious for 2 people, the separate front area is large enough to accommodate 2 people for eating or storing equipment. Haven't used it in rain yet but if its a good as my last Vango tent then it should be fine. Not high enough for chairs or a table so I use a bed table/tray with folding legs. Ground sheet for both areas. Love colour and very well made, zips, ropes and pokes are all strong. Should last a good few seasons.

Good when finally up, instructions not the best
I'm not a regular tenting person so came at this totally cold. The instructions are not very clear but after a bit of head scratching and a few choice words, I managed to get the tent up as it should have been. It can be done by one person easy enough and next time will be a lot quicker as I will know what to do. One suggestion from a camping friend was to leave the ground sheet in situ after you've usedit the first time to save having to fix that in again the next time. That works. Sleeping in it was good, enough ventilation to keep cool and the inside 'door' worked to keep bugs etc. out. Apparently I snore, so the guy in the next pitch tells me. I would say this is good enough for occasional use but I wouldn't want to trek with it for weeks on end.
