Solid Mixer
Another good product by Peavy , no bells or fancy stuff just a plain rugged mixer that is very easy to use , clean sound and solid made , not a fancy eq but does a good job , very road worthy.

A nice mixer, versatile, sounds good.
I bought this mixer in 2014. And while I have only used it lightly and not gigged with it, I'm very pleased with it overall. I also have a 4 channel Peavey USB mixer from this same line. This 20 channel is enough to mic (or directly input) an entire band, including the drum kit, guitars, bass, keys and vocals for most bands. I have no complaints - it's easy to use and it sounds good. My PA is QSC K12's. The price of this mixer has gone up about $200 since I bought it, so the value isn't quite as good now, but still great compared to other options. I've purchased some other mixers and used them in the past - a couple mackies which didn't last very well and got noisy pots super fast, and a couple others. I like this better than those. The only thing I don't like is the form factor doesn't fit in a typical mixer ATA case/roller. But I found a padded bag that is the perfect size and I just sit it on top of another road case I have...that works great. With onboard effects, 2 monitor channels plus the main outs this is pretty versatile for the money. 1 update, in 2021 it started making some static type noises that do not appear to be caused by an external source. It may be a component failing on the mixer board - TBD. It's seen pretty limited use through it's life, but has been stored in climate controlled environments. I'll do more troubleshooting to see if it's external, but the first round suggests it's internal. The 2 stage monitor channels is a bit of a constraint if mixing a band that is used to individual mixes on their monitors. I also don't see any way to dump those Monitor 1& 2 (Aux) signals to the headphones if you need to hear them at the mixing board, so that's a challenge particularly if you get involved with in ear monitors.

I love this mixer
I love this mixer, but received several that were defective. Returned three for blow circuit serving the headphones output and master fader LED display. Everything was handled very well with the returns. Current unit is a great mixer for PC based small studio recording.

Peavey PV20
Works as advertised, does what I need done with minimum set-up. User friendly controls. Wish I could get a case.

Great Mixer.
Great board. Effects work well enough, and I can insert into any channel I want. I would've like 22 channels, but 20 is enough for my stage.

good all around basic mixer with good effects
This mixer does exactly what I need it to do, simple set up without the manual if you have some experience with mixers. If you are using condenser mics that require phantom power do some research because this board has global phantom power which I believe means if you use phantom power on one channel it is on for all. I don't use phantom power so you might want to check with peavey on that one before you purchase. Peavey makes good, reliable equipment. 16 mic inputs was a must for me and in this price range nothing beats it. Good internal effects. My band loves it and I use it at least once per weak. If it suits your needs you will not be disappointed and I don't think you can beat the price for the number of mic inputs (xlr). I dont use the usb function.
