Turkey vultures would frequetly land on my parents roof overlooking a pond. Their claws had damaged the entire cap, stripping gravel off the shingles, and in some cases actually causing holes!I put these up all across the ridge, and after 3 months NO birds! How you adhere them is up to you. There are holes in them if you choose to screw them down, but I chose to silicon them on.They do take some effort to put together but it's not hard. My 87 year old mom.actually assembled most of them. From the ground you do see them, but they are not "obvious" or obtrusive. I am happy with them. I considered giving 4 stars because they needed assembled, but I understand they save storage and shipping costs this way making them more affordable. My mom is happy!

Works just fine ...No birds where I have them installed.

Areal boring pain to assemble but inexpensive and same as the costly ones. Works great to prevent nest building.

So far these have kept the birds from returning to nest under the eaves. They are easy to assemble and durable. The only downside is trying to find adhesive strong enough to hold them onto the house.

I was having a huge issue with bird droppings. After putting these up, all those birds are now only the problem of the neighbors.

The concept is good. Possibly work for much larger birds but the smaller birds just made a nest on them.

I was needing something to keep the squirrels off my new vinyl fence and these worked perfect!!!Easy to put together. Easy to use with the double-sided tape. Definitely will buy more.
