This saw checked all the boxes I wanted 12” blade, I wanted sliding compound movement, I wanted tilt on both sides, and I wanted a reasonable price. I asked for it for my birthday and my wife got it for me. There was one problem out of the box the fence had a crack in it (which can happen easily on aluminum molded parts) and my wife bought it for me more than the return/exchange window by the time it was my birthday. So I sent an email to Dovaman customer service and I will be honest I thought that there is no way I am getting a reply and I would have to makeshift a fence, I was wrong their customer service rep Katia replied same day, and each day after until the replacement fence arrived, Katia was fantastic. I have also included a picture of the last project(chicken coop) I was working on and using the miter saw. I normally only write reviews when a product or customer service is awful, it’s nice to write one for the opposite reason.

Great radial arm saw. Had to tighten a few nuts and bolts and make some minor adjustments but overall, really good quality. Packaged really well and very fast shipping.

Great saw, I’m happy with my purchase

This replaced a very old off brand miter saw that I broke accidentally and could not find parts to repair. I thought I had a good saw and in it's memory I will say that it did the task at hand. But my new saw has all the things one would ever need. This 12" blade, dual-bevel compound miter saw does it all. I am very happy with this purchase and it is the center of my shop. I have not had any problems or issues with it at all. I was not familiar with DOVAMAN saws but this runs circles around my old broken one. No, I did not break my old one on purpose, maybe.

It's a real good saw for the money...

Saw was delivered in couple day in a huge package to my doorstep and I found all parts as advertised. On my first test, I liked smoothness of cut after replacing blade with 100 tooth Freud one. I liked laser light that accurately shows cut line. Range of cut is good. Saw is quiet, this is a big plus. Unfortunately almost everything else is not good.Dust collection system is absolutely terrible, saw covers my shop with dust in just a few cuts. Notches on angular adjustment are casted not machined in base and completely inaccurate. I see no way of correcting this even after squaring fences to cut line. A lot of cheap plastic parts that don't promise long life. Two rails are oily and dust sticks to oil, I a'm afraid that rails are not rustproof and will rust fast when exposed to moisture thus use of this saw on location is very limited.I decided that that this product is below advertised standard and I will return it. This was not as easy as typical return to Amazon. As I initiated my return I waited 5 days for response from seller, then I had to call Amazon customer service twice to find out that Im dealing with Chinese company. After few more days of waiting I received return instructions from China and learned that they expect me to sand it back to China on my own dollar which is not acceptable. Story goes on but, I'm warning any potential buyers to be careful ordering equipment from MilkyWay Galaxy. It might be not returnable even if they say it is.Finally, I was reimbursed for the purchase and MilkyWay Galaxy informed me that I don't have to ship this saw back. Big relief and kudos to MilkyWay Galaxy for professional resolution. I decided to upgrade my rating to 3 stars.
