Nice Paint!
Nice paint I usually make my own chalk paint with plaster of paris, but I was short on time so I thought I would just purchase it this time. This paint worked out great It did take 3 coats but I was painting over black paint, it turned out very nice. Would definitely purchase again. Easy to use and looks great.

A Nice Subtle Shade Of PINK Chalked Spray Paint!
Firstly, I’ve been experimenting quite a bit with chalk finish paint to refresh some outdoor furniture before hosting a baby shower. I have found Rustoleum’s Chalked line of spray paint to have the best quality, appearance, and overall texture compared to most other paints. The fact that it’s offered in a spray paint form also makes it less messy and fairly more hassle-free than most all of the other options available also.I used the Blush Pink shade to refinish this old little side table I use for plants. The table was originally finished in a dark red cherry wood tone but appears to be made from composite materials as it’s very lightweight and the wood finish could be sanded off easily.I cleaned the table off and then very lightly sanded the shiny sheen off of it where I could, without being too worried about getting it all off and without removing the cherry wood tones. I then sprayed it with three light coats of the paint. If there where any drips or accidentally thick spots of the paint, I hit them with a foam mini paint roller immediately after spraying to incorporate them better. Drying time was very quick- it only took 10-15 mins for each light coat to be dry to the touch, but I still gave each coat about an hour total outside in 77 degree sunshine to dry (probably unnecessary though). I’m ordering the chalked top matte coat to finish off the piece and will probably hit it it with a sealer too before putting it back outside. However, at this point, I’m very happy with the results! I wanted a subtle shade of pink but was mostly shooting for any kind of boho-looking light-colored chalk finish so I was flexible. This paint goes on very stark white-looking, but then seems to settle into a light pink shade after drying out fully. It has great coverage, though I did use one whole can on this one table. Still worth the $10 for the end result. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product!

Furniture Saver!!
I love this paint and can’t believe it’s my first time using it. I followed the directions exactly as written and it was extremely easy to work with. I used a flat synthetic brush and applied the paint in long even strokes. The piece is textured and I wanted to ensure good coverage so I applied two coats. I accidentally dripped paint on the floor and inside the drawers but it cleaned right off with water. Once the piece dried completely, I applied two coats of the matte topcoat for chalk paint. It looks great.

Beautiful black matte!
This paint is great! With one coat, it completely transformed my old wooden cabinet, into a modern classic! Love the black matte, and feel.

Worked Pretty Much As Needed
The short story: This did the job I needed it to. It isn't perfect, but it did the job and was a little easier and faster to use that the wax I usually use.I've done a lot of chalk paint projects and I typically use a wax for it. The wax I used to use is hard to find and expensive when I find it, so I decided to try this instead. It did the job!Pros:-This worked better than I'd honest anticipated it to.-It is easy to use.-It dries quickly.-It is mostly clear when it dries.-I was able to use it on several surfaces.-It leaves the surface feeling smooth so you can tell it was coated, but it was still matte (unlike the polycrylic I used on other items that did the job but the surface still felt like raw wood).Cons-It does have issues with bubbling. Depending on the brush you use and how you apply it it can be worse. However, minor bubbling can be fixed by gently brushing over the area again while it is still wet. Excess bubbles can be smoothed out by heating the wet surface carefully with a propane torch (you could also try a heat gun or hairdryer).-Even if applied in a thin layer, you can still end up with drips. However, the product dries quickly, so I just go back around the project after a few minutes and smooth out drips, then I check again a few more minutes after that just to make sure they've all been smoothed out.-I could not find cure time anywhere on the product. This is not a big deal for products that do not come in contact with water, but I used it on my bathroom floor over milk paint and let it cure for several days before use and the seal still shows drip marks when they aren't wiped within a few minutes (it is a temporary thing just for fun, but I still wanted to know the cure time to prevent this).-This product does leave a mostly-clear layer on top, but if you add too many layers it does start to dull what is underneath. So I guess that comes down to making sure you apply properly so you do not need to over-apply.On the note of reading reviews places that claim this causes yellowing: I did have an issue with yellowing on the white legs of my kitchen table. This was after applying the chalk paint wax, though. I realized that the legs had not been sealed properly after their initial staining, so the chemicals from the stain leaked through, causing the yellowing. To fix this, I simply applied a layer of stain-blocking primer before adding more chalk paint, sanding, and sealing. I'd wanted more of a washed look, but the distressed look turned out great. No more yellowed legs!Overall, I liked this product.
