So easy and cost effective!
I used to have a different carbonated water making system but it was messy, didn't work well, and was a pain to clean. I wish I had bought a SodaStream back when I purchased that system! The Terra is SOOOO easy to use. Setup literally took 20 seconds (just installing the CO2 canister) and making a bottle of sparkling water (which is about 2 of the bottles of ICE) takes even less. My kiddo and I love the Sparkling ICE waters so we use a variety of water enhancers for flavor (e.g., Mio) to get something similar. After we finished our first CO2 canister, I did a cost analysis of how many bottles of ICE I would get for the number bottles this will fizz up and the "cost per bottle" for the same amount of SodaStream drink just with this starter kit was a little less than half - and that's including the flavorings! Now the only time we purchase an ICE is when we're on vacation.

I use it every day!
I’ve been using the SodaStream Terra every single day, and I absolutely love it. I drink about 2 liters of sparkling water daily, and one CO₂ cylinder lasts me about a month. It’s incredibly easy to use, saves me from buying bottled sparkling water, and the water always tastes fresh. The machine is sturdy, simple to operate, and has been completely reliable. If you enjoy sparkling water, I highly recommend it. Great value and one of my favorite kitchen appliances!

Good choice
Works well. Holds gas. Easy to use. But do not flavor water before fizzing. Put a on the go package in water went to fixz. Lol what a mess. Don’t do it. So far i used one canister since may 28th 2026. 3 1l bottles using 3 1sec bursts. Use cold water best fizz. About 20 bottles filled.

Should have bought this years ago!
My husband surprised me with this because I go through at least three boxes of sparkling water a week. I was skeptical at first — I didn’t think it would taste as good, since every store brand seems to taste a little different. But honestly? I was wrong. We love this thing! This bundle is a great value — it came with the machine, one bottle, and three CO₂ canisters. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out the Terra doesn’t require electricity, which makes it super portable and easy to store if you don't want it on the counter. It’s small and sleek, doesn’t take up much counter or cupboard space, and I usually just keep it tucked away until I need it. One thing - it is pretty tall and doesn't fit under any of my cupboards, so that could be a potential issue for some. The machine is easy to use — loading the CO₂ was a breeze, and SodaStream includes a great illustrated instruction book with lots of tips for making tasty drinks. I played around a bit to figure out my ideal level of carbonation, and now I’ve got it just right. I mostly drink unflavored soda water, and it’s crisp, refreshing, and exactly how I like it.Bonus:-The bottle is dishwasher safe-The machine wipes down easily-There are smaller bottles available if you want extrasWe’ve also had fun making homemade drinks like mimosas (yes, we carbonated orange juice!), and cherry soda using real cherries. But for everyday use, just plain sparkling water hits the spot. We’ve had it for a couple of months, and we’re still on the first CO₂ canister — even with regular use. No issues with spraying, leaks, or messes. And I’ve definitely already saved money compared to my weekly sparkling water habit. If you’re even a little bit tempted, I say go for it. This thing pays for itself quickly and makes the experience way more fun.

Won't save money but better for the environment
New user so wanted to warn to be sure you have the bottle seated correctly and not to go over the fill line. I filled it to the line, and then did not realize on the first attempt it was not seated correctly- loads of exploding water mess :) Once I looked up a video to see how much of a "gap" they were referring to, no issues. 100% user error. I was happily surprised this did not require electricity to use, makes sense since the it is just the CO2 gas creating those bubbles and you are just releasing it. Had a snafu with the syrups, but used some flavoring I had here for water (Mio). I am happy with the results. Initially, I thought this would benefit the environment and save me money in the long term, but I've since lowered expectations about the savings. By the time you get your CO2 tanks and flavorings, it is roughly the same cost of soda on sale. Still, my main purpose was to save plastic bottles, as I go through a ton of them. You can subscribe on the Soda Stream site to send your empty bottles back for a refill, which offers both cost savings and is better for the environment. So far, I like the purchase and there is a fresher taste to the product when you make it at home versus buying soda from the grocer.

Heathier than soda, but an expensive alternative
Okay. I recognize right away that this is going to be an expensive purchase. Not only is the initial price quite high, but carbon bottles don't last forever, and I foresee that being a major long term purchase. That said, I've used the soda stream consistently for a month now and haven't run out of the first carbonation container, so it has good life. The product is very easy to assemble with clear instructions. It did take me a second try to learn the water has to be up to the second line before it works. Not sure what both lines are for, but the drink will only lightly carbonate if it's only filled to the first line. This kit comes with a pretty large bottle, which works for my purposes, though I will eventually invest in buying a few smaller ones for lighter use. It works well and is a much healthier alternative to soda. Obviously, it's not 100% healthy, but I'd be adding the flavoring to my water anyways (I just use a cheap water flavoring from walmart) and it helps me drink more water.Definitely a bit expensive, but I foresee getting a lot of use from this because I love carbonated drinks!EDIT After consistent one person use, I still haven't run out of carbonation from the first bottle (six months later).

If you enjoy fizzy drinks you will love it!
I was initially sceptical that this machine will replace my la croix’s however now I use it every day.Pros: 1) it is simple to use- carbonation achieved by pressing a button on top, 2) comes with 3 CO2 canisters and each canister lasts a good amount of time, for example I like my drink extra carbonated so I press the button 3 times and make 1-2 bottles a day and even then one CO2 canister lasted about a month. 3) CO2 canisters are easy to exchange at nearby Target and cost ~$15 when you exchange, 4) good for the environment since it eliminates all the cans and bottle that are thrown out, 5) I can control what i put in my soda, for example my go to is lemon juice, which makes for a refreshing and healthy soda, 6) control over the amount of carbonation, 7) a good selection of bottle available online, including an insulated metal bottle which is my favorite.Cons: not many however there are a few things that can be improved so I gave this product 4 stars, 1) the overall built quality is ok, but everything is made from plastic so it is hard to say how long it will last, however after a few months of use it holds up well without any issues 2) the instructions for how to insert the bottle for carbonation are not very good and initially we thought it was leaking every time we tried to carbonate, so make sure you flip the nozzle with a rounded piece of plastic first, then pushed the bottle up and forward to lock it in place and form a seal.In conclusion, get it and you can enjoy a fizzy drink while reducing waste.
