My friend and handyman was finally able to put this together for me. He had made a small orchid house for me and it is now sitting in pride of place in front of and attached to the pressure treated wooden frame. It is necessary to make sure things are secure here in Southeast Florida, as we not only get hurricanes but regularly have tropical storms can have strong winds embedded in them. Then the plants will also help to secure everything. I'm currently recovering from a foot surgery but planning what will be planted and trained over this beautiful trellis. Will I plant a wonderful vining vegetable plant, a small grape vine I had just located in my garden a few days before my surgery, or perhaps a rose bush or two? This is a good time to elevate that foot and plan ahead.Someone in one of the other reviews commented on their finish being bad and they had to paint it. Mine, like other have stated, was beautifully finished with both black and a lighter-golden antique-finish and if you ran your hand over both, there was an obvious clear finish over all of it and was smooth to the touch. Because of the other person's comment and experience, I paid careful attention in case I might want to paint it before planting anything against the arbor. Perhaps there was a problem with their product, but more likely they did not realize the finish was as advertised and/or just had something else in mind and chose to paint it. If so, good for them, but let me assure any prospective buyers that the finish was very good at the time of my purchase.

I bought this to replace an arbor that was destroyed during a storm. I bought this to be able to fit my garden bench under. It is too narrow. I kept this and bought u brackets (on Amazon) that allowed me to add several inches to widen the arbor so that my bench would fit. I noted that several arbors had reviews that state that the measurements in the description do not match the actual measurements. It would be nice if the measurements were more accurate as to inside and outside dimensions.Aside from the dimension measurement issue, this is a nice looking arbor. It was easy to assemble, actually lighter than I would like. One of the stakes was bent and a couple of nuts were missing. I will use it to train jasmine vines.Only time will tell how well it work and how long it will last. The bolts are already rusting. I used stainless steel hardware on the u brackets. It would be nice if the product came with stainless steel hardware.Overall, for the price, it is ok.

Absolutely love this arbor!!! Beautiful!! Goes together nicely! But there was one missing nut, 14MM, and I really needed it. I contacted the company and they were wonderful responding sooo quickly. They didn’t have ANY replacement nuts! But were going to send a 10.00 refund. I was disappointed they did not have the missing nut; went to our small town trying to buy a replacement, but no one has that size. I’ll keep trying!! The sturdiness was good, except for our windy part of the world. Had to put 4 metal strips against each leg (about 3feet long), tie them on, and now it’s sturdy enough. Have honeysuckle to grow up both sides and it’s beautiful!! I really love this arbor and would buy it again. Very good quality!!

Cute,but rust badly in a year

I purchased this arch to use at a client’s wedding. It arrived quickly, all the pieces were included, and had easy to follow instructions. The arch is comprised of six pieces: two sides, two pieces that attach to make the top, and two crossbars for sturdiness. It goes together easily, and when it’s in pieces (out of the original box) can fit into a mid-sized car. While lightweight, it’s still fairly sturdy—but of course that doesn’t mean you can swing on it! I had no issues with tipping or swaying even when it was indoors on carpeting without the accompanying ground stakes or when I attached a large floral swag and fabric to the top.I actually like it so much that it’s currently in my backyard awaiting the rain to stop so I can incorporate it into my landscaping!

It’s a beautiful garden arch. I was missing caps, but the manufacturer was very prompt to send me the replacement. It took me 45 minutes to assemble by myself. The anchor are not enough to hold it strong enough, so I temporarily put a steppingstone on the bottom until I have more time in Fall to fix that. I am very happy with the arch. I will try to upgrade next summer.

Overall, I like the design, rather flimsy and I am not sure how well it will hold up. The description states it is 4’5”. It is NOT. It is 45 inches. Disappointed with this. I had planned a 50 inch bench underneath. Keeping it because of the hassle of sending it back. Won’t order from this company again.

Easy to put together (even I did it). Attractive and good value. I would not hang a plant heavier than 5 lbs from it but it IS elegant. My only difficulty was placing it on the slope but I made it work. (Put gravel, rocks under it - much more one side to prop it up then placed a large piece of slate over the horizontal bars to secure it and prevent tripping.
