my cats love their wheel but my downstairs neighbor does not. i got these to try and alleviate some of the sound. it...kind of works. the wheel is still super loud but I recognize that that's not what these are designed for so I hesitate to remove a star. these are well made, came precut if you need them at an angle.

I am using these to help lower the noise floor generated by my computers (especially my DAW computer).I hot glued the two halves of each together, then added a sound-reducing wall tile (to give it extra stability for the heavy computer). They work great; I can't detect any computer vibrations in the desks those computers sit on. Granted, with a plethora of fans in a case, these aren't silencing it, but every db of noise diminished in a recording is one less to filter out later.I am glad I got these; they do a great job isolating a vibration source from what it sits on.
