Reading Lamp for Bed Headboard, HandAcc Clip Desk Lamp Dimmable LED USB Reading Light with Sturdy Gooseneck for Bedroom(Blue)

This is a fantastic product. It is/works exactly as advertised. I bought it for my computer desk to replace the drafting light I've had for years (finally died). I was ready to get another similar light as a replacement. I went online and checked out all the available lights. I decided to get something different, something smaller, lighter and easier to mount. After reviewing several I decided on this light. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!Pros:- the switch is ON the base, not "somewhere" on the cord. Unless you mount it in some weird place it's readily accessible at all times.- USB powered. Also great for a computer desk. I keep it plugged in, so it's always charged.- the base/clamp is very strong so it can be mounted to a vertical surface as well as horizontal. Yet it's not so strong that it can't be readily moved. Some reviews of other similar lamps indicated that the clamp had sharp edges. Not to worry with this one. All edges are smooth. Oh, and it has rubber feet so you don't have to use the clamp if you have an available flat surface.- the light head design is great. It is easily adjusted to where you WANT light. And unlike some lamps, it is not heavy, so it stays where you put it.- the 3 brightness settings are great. When I'm using just the keyboard, I usually keep it on the low setting, therefore cutting glare. For reading, I use one of the higher settings.- even at the highest setting, the lamp is cool. I can wrap my hand entirely around the light head without worrying about burning my hand. So, safe around kids also.- the "arm/neck" is about 13" and is very flexible allowing it to be aimed very easily.NOTE: be careful when choosing this type lamp. Many of the clamp-on types are actually READING lamps to be used with books. Which means the arm/neck is very short, as is the size of the light itself. If you want a DESK lamp be sure the arm/neck is about a foot or so.Cons: I've had it for a month and seriously I've found none. If I do I'll post an update.I highly recommend. I was thinking of buying another for my bed, but the "Mighty Light" I have for reading works great, so I'll save the money.

This was not at all what I expected or thought I wanted. I'm very glad I ordered it! The lamp will clip anywhere (I'm still figuring out the best location). I can twist it to focus the light on whatever I need (the light is bright enough to let me see the black button on black fabric to roll up the legs of my REI pants). The touch on/off switch is convenient--nice to not have to contort myself to twist a conventional switch. AND I can charge it and take it anywhere, especially to those places (family members' spare bedrooms) who don't have bedside reading lights.Now I just have to find the lamp I was aiming for in the first place. I'm sure not sending this one back!

This clip on lamp -as I see it - has only one flaw. If you set it on your desk [rather than clipping on] and position the light to the side - the base falls over. It lights up my keyboard very well. I plug this item into a USB hub - it saves on batteries. However, with batteries I can take it anywhere. The light works extremely well with Amazon AAA size. I like the fact that the lighting can be low, medium or high. The light area does get warm on high but not hot - I usually run it on medium. All in all it it is it is convenient, flexible and takes up very little space. I would buy it again for myself or as a gift for a friend.

Great light! Lightweight, attractive design, clear bright light. Powerful but compact. Three light levels is nice. Bends to all reading angles. Love that there are no wires and it's rechargeable (so no batteries either!). This is NOT a tiny book light though. Looks like some people thought it was. My daughter is using this to clip onto her bed's headboard while she is in bed reading. The clip is mighty! But it's not small. I'm going to buy 2 more of these for my other children because now they all want one.

I bought this for my daughters bunk bed so she can have a light to turn on without getting out of bed. This is a great product. It doesn't get how when left on which was a big concern of mine as my daughter is 6 and i was worried she may leave it on and get hot leaning on one of her blankets. It has different brightness settings so its prefect for either reading or a low light to fall asleep too. It is study and built for a child to use for sure. So glad i bought this.

I bought my previous lamp like this almost 2 yrs ago & I also bought one for my mom.. They’re both still going strong. I chose to buy another one for how dependable & long lasting this first one still is. I bought this second one as a back-up & or for another project.I’ve had no problems with this lamp what so ever. So I would highly recommend it to any crafter, coloring enthusiast or so on.

I purchased this item July 15, 2020 and it has stopped working and will not recharge. It was nice while it lasted and for the price I guess I should have expected this to happen. But I just wanted to write this for anyone expecting it to last longer than it did for me.

I love this reading light! I love that it has three settings, can easily be charged and is lightweight. I clipped it to the side of my daughter's loft bed. She uses it every night. I love it so much I want one for my bed.

In all, a great reading lamp - but battery doesn't last that long.Really bright on the highest setting - enough to fill our bedroom to see to dress etc. Reading is no issue with this lamp.Charging this lamp only takes about 45 mins, 1 hour or so, which is handy. The lamp starts to dim after about 4-5 hours of run time, less if the lamp is used on its full brightness. You need to keep a charger handy if you're using this every night. Probably would get annoying if you were using this as a desk lamp. Would be ideal for travelling though.The clip is really strong too, no danger of it falling off.Only annoyance was the HandAcc logo on the front of the device, which doesn't come off easily (even with nail polish remover etc). It's quite ugly - but you might not agree there.Don't let this put you off though - we bought a second lamp because we liked the first so much.

Amazing desk lamp, gave it to my man now who absolutely loves it!!

the product was very small and I discovered that it had to go all the way back to China so in the end I kept it as that seemed uneconomical to return it. It was overpriced for what it was.

Excellent and a very lightweight and small lamp that sots ideally on my small side cupboard by the bed.
