Best butt paste ever
Works so well. The rash is usually gone within a few applications. I always dry the area & reapply after each diaper change. Once the rash is gone I usually switch to Aquaphor or A&D Ointment. The paste is not overly smelly or messy. The red tube of this brand is very hard to wipe off after the next change. I do not have that problem with the yellow tube. The tube lasts a long time and is well worth the money.

fast-acting relief and great value
The cream ahs become an essential in our household. The 3-pack of 4 oz tubes is not only economical but also convenient- we keep one at the changing table, one in the diaper bag, and one as a backup. The cream's thick consistency provides a protective barrier that stays in place, offering immediate relief for our baby's sensitive skin.

Never a diaper rash, nice, thick, non-sticky paste
I'll be the first to admit that I'm in a little over my head with this parenting thing. Before the birth of my little girl 7 weeks ago, I had never even held a baby, let alone changed a diaper. I posted to Facebook asking my friends for a list of things I need to buy that I might not think of. Three different friends recommended Boudreaux's Butt Paste, so I decided to buy some. My husband and I weren't sure how much we needed... should we get a little tube? Should be get a 16oz tub? How much of this stuff do babies use? Neither of us had any idea, so we went for the enormous tub. After the little one was born, she ended up in the NICU for a couple of weeks, where the nurses used several gross smelling creams of various consistency. Some were runny, some were thick and pasty and went on in what seemed like centimeter thick layers. It was like a disgusting melange of baby poo and creams with every diaper change. She also managed to get a pretty nasty rash. Every day, we were wondering what sort of surprise we were going to find when we were changing her diaper. At discharge, we were given a half dozen tubes of these miscellaneous creams to "keep that rash away". When we got home, we struggled with it for a week before deciding to try the Boudreaux's Butt Paste we had already purchased. This miracle paste cleared her rash right up. It went on easily, isn't runny or gross at all, and even has a nice vanilla-like smell. We just put a little on at every diaper change and she hasn't had a rash since. It also seems to cost about the same as the other stuff out there, so that's a bonus as well. The tub is awesome, because the lid flips right up for easy access. You do not have to unscrew the lid.Overall, this is amazing stuff.

Great Product, but it Stains Clothes
My daughter struggled with extreme diaper rash. She has terribly sensitive skin so we were constantly battling rashes. We tried several other diaper creams, with mixed results. I chose this product because of it's size (we don't need to buy diaper cream for another decade!) & because we had heard good things about it.This product works! It always cleared up my daughter's diaper rashes. In fact, we still use this product on our 3 year-old because she still gets very bad rashes when she isn't cleaned well enough. This cream is VERY thick! When I put this product on my daughter I have to wash my hands very thoroughly with soap & water to get the cream off my fingers. That shows how waterproof this cream is! The thick cream is also very soothing. My daughter comments that she feels better right away. I appreciate how effective this product is.The only problem that we have is that this product stains clothing very badly! We used cloth diapers & the liners are completely stained, We also have to strip the diaper regularly because this makes the fabric waterproof (which isn't food for cloth diapers!). Because we occasionally have to use this product on our 3 year-old, several pairs of her underwear are stained.Overall this is an amazing product. Just be careful when you use it. Don't wipe your hands on your clothes!

SMELLS SOOOO GOOD!
This stuff smells so good. I used it on my babies 40 years ago, and I've used it on myself ever since. It just stands to reason that if I can tell a difference in the way my own skin irritations feel when I use it, I know it has to be better for baby's skin than other products too. It's really miraculous the difference it makes. I've tried the extra strength version in red packaging, but the extra strength version doesn't have that wonderful smell. And it doesn't really work any better than the original anyway. Soothes sunburn and other minor burns. I'm no stranger to sunburn, and I have tried many products over the years to relieve it. Plus, a little goes a long way. This product gets TEN STARS from me.
