Stuck in the house with a fun-killing surgical boot, I was tortured by the view of my neglected and very weedy garden. (It's over 90 degrees where I live...) So the choice became - try this clever gadget or hire a teenager to stand over me with a large fan for a few hours. I chose the former - it's all of the comfort and none of the attitude.A brilliant choice! Suited up with my neck fan, earbuds, and an audio book, I wobbled outside and plopped down in the dirt...scooting around like a puppy with an itchy butt when part of the weedy crop was jjjjjuuuusssttt out of reach. I remember thinking, "The heat isn't so bad with this nice breeze." And then I remembered where the breeze was coming from. Duh.I was out there for more than two hours, and couldn't believe how comfortable i was. (Usually I give up after fifteen minutes.) The fan does generate a soft humming sound, but I could hear the audio book just fine. It's just a gentle, purring kind of white noise. The low speed was fine for keeping me comfortable. (And when I went back into the AC for a break, the fan generated cold air right on to my neck - very refreshing!)I don't know exactly how long the charge lasted, because I plugged it back in when I was finished working. But I know I was out there at least 2-3 hours without a recharge.This will be perfect for the community fireworks display coming up. (Hot and crowded! I will never be without this superb device!

I bought this for my husband to use while doing yard work and anything else outside in the heat. I soon bought myself one too. Makes a huge difference and the battery lasts longer than I expected. It's lightweight and quiet and who doesn't like a cool breeze blowing on your neck when it's hot.

This fan works really well. I'm not a tiny gal, but the fan is not tight fitting around the neck, and sits nicely (but not too snugly). The air output is good, even in the lowest. I love that there are vents on the neck-- as a gal with very long hair, my neck gets warm, and this helps. I recently had a long day of painting inside a building with no AC (just a big fan and open doors) in 90 degrees. I wore this and it helped keep me stable. As someone who has a body that struggles to regulate its temp, having b that b little bit of help is game changing.One star knocked off because it is louder than I like. The low setting is almost too loud to hear what others are saying clearly, the two higher speeds (while amazing for air flow) are too loud to hear well around you. Nature of the beast, but feel a little more effort could be made in design to quiet it more.

With anything over $20 I research reviews. This one was #1 on most major consumer test sites. Price is great. Like that they flex a bit(last one did not) Love it uses USB-C. Really feel the air moving around the neck/face. Perfect size and seems like very good material. Noise level is what I would expect. Love that I DO NOT have to use the lights since that would use up battery. The light would be great for anyone walking/riding when it is dark out. Flashes red when needs charging, green when plugged in and blue when complete. Works while plugged in so if needed, a power bank in your pocket would get you all the time you need it for. Great for yardwork or a power outage in the summer. Off to order one for work!

Looks like a fierce Summer coming up so this looked like a good option. Cut it down because the instructions basically useless and it really leaves you stranded about charging the battery.How long should it be charged? Can it be charged too long? Why no indication full charge? Kind of crucial. I haven't really used it yet. Seems to put out nice breeze but how long will it last if undercharged? Just worry about the charging situation and lack of info.Portable:This is meant to be portable--a wearable fan.Value for money:If it lasts it is a good price.Did like lavender option.

Felt a little tight around the neck, but other than that, genuinely seemed like a good product.I bought this for an autistic child, to help us get through Texas summer. Unfortunately having the intake fans -even relatively quiet as they are- by her ears, and having the band seeming too tight for her neck for her comfort caused her to actively dislike it.We're returning the product, as it just doesn't work out for us - but I want to say very clearly that it seemed like it was doing the job it was designed for quite well. I think that for most people, this will work out quite well for them. 95% of the people who might buy this would probably love it. It just wasn't for her, though.Will say that the fan speed seemed pretty good. You do need to make sure you've got it turned the right way for best results, but that's no big deal. Also, FWIW, it had an acceptable amount of 'bulk' to it. It didn't feel flimsy or cheap, like some other fans I've used in the past did.
