Freart Colored Paper Chalk

I love this chalk! The colors are the most vibrant and true I have ever found in chalk. Especially the primary colors! No anemic pigments here! Messy as heck, but what good art material isn’t. The black isn’t some lame gray. It is True black. I’ll warn you though, if your kids are using this for sidewalk, all the colors wash away really well except for the black. It wants to stick around for a while, even if you hose it. I use these for paper and chalkboard, and they work beautifully.

This chalk beats all the other chalks for pigmentation and rich blendable color. It lasts for a good while on a driveway and sometimes on clothing. I use latex gloves and wear scrubby clothes.

Y’all. This is the most pigmented chalk I’ve ever encountered. My daughter and I did a big chalk mural in our driveway and the colors were SUPER bright. The mural lasted about 2 weeks until it rained. The black chalk has some serious staying power even after rain though, so be aware. 100% will buy again for more chalk art. Oh and after this mural was done, we still had about half a stick of each color chalk left.

If you're looking for bulk, this is not for you. However, the product itself is excellent. I would like the ability to purchase just one color, such as black or red. I am an amateur chalk artist, and much of what I create uses specific colors more than others. The pigment is as vibrant as you can get. For large areas, this size is great.

I was so excited to try this chalk I opened it up at the mailbox and immediately drew a quick rainbow to see if it met expectations. And it definitely did! Gorgeously vivid saturation, so impressed! Colorful and smooth to apply. Inspiring for any level artist. We have a pretty porous driveway that regular chalk has a hard time covering but this chalk went on like paint. I look forward to playing around with blending capabilities when I have the time for proper drawing.

These colors are SOOOOO vivid. In my two photos with this review, I used this chalk and some of my regular Target/Walmart chalk. I hope you can see the difference in the colors, these are just beautiful! They do run out quickly as sidewalk chalk as they are pretty soft. Will but again!

Wonderfully intense colors, however the black and brown chalk will stain concrete/cement. All the other colors wash away easily in the rain. Tried scrubbing with soap, bleach, vinegar and other household cleaners with a brush to no avail. Going to try a power washer next. Just an FYI. Would still buy them as they brighten up the neighborhood. Lots of compliments.

As a chalk artist who works on a variety of surfaces this chalk has become my go to. The chalk has vibrant colors and great coverage. It also blends really well. I will definitely buy a few more boxes in the future to add to my kit.
