I've used this type of product for a few years - these work just as well. As for the tape - the supplied tape is cheap from all the suppliers I've seen: I recommend buying a cheap but effective roll of thicker (16mm is nice) and stronger adhesive tape (think I got my roll from ebay) and it will work well (and the hook tape is available in black and white).

The tape doesn't stay attached to window frame keeps peeling off

Absolutely rubbish sticky velcro keeps coming off window frame. Just won't stick no matter how hard I apply it.

I have a skylight without a net and it's the dead heat of summer, really wanted to let in some cool air but didn't want to spend $$$ on a professional job. This did the trick perfectly. I lined the outside wall of the skylight with the tape and used the little plastic tool to press the whole netting on. You can easily undo a small part to reach in and open/close the window. Professional, no. Gets the job done, yes.

The ability to make it the size you needed was excellent. Very good product. I recommend it to anyone who needs a screen.

My windows didn't have screens on them, and using this absolutely saved the day! I was easily able to install it and the screen is barely visible. 10/10

We've gotten screens that are adjustable in the past but our windows are taller than they are wide and so they would just fall out. These screens that are basically velcroed on with adhesive velcro are the best thing ever. Its just like putting plastic on the windows except its fabric. Its easy to do, and because the netting is stretchy its easy to get a taught fit (so no folds in the fabric). We got the white ones hoping our cats would be able to see them and wont try to jump through them, I was nervous it would block more of the view than black netting but its absolutely fine! It took me several tries to get the creases out, and readjusting it did not fray the fabric, so I'm hopeful that these will last several years if I'm careful taking them off, since I was careful to apply the adhesive to places that would not affect the ability to close the windows while its on. Seriously, best $20 I've ever spent. Such a clever fix for a frustrating problem!
