I love this device. It’s easy to use and it connects fast. After using it for sometime, it started to disconnect when I got a bump in the road. I contacted customer service about it, even though the return window had closed and they sent me a new one free of charge!! I am very happy my new device, no more problems. This device was exactly what I needed! Quick set up and very easy to connect. After the initial connection it automatically links to my phone, no more wires, no need to pull my phone out to get to my apps.The small size was perfect for my dashboard, it came with everything I needed to plug it in and mount it under my dash.

I recently upgraded my stock 2012 Nissan Altima radio to a Kenwood DMX that has CarPlay and it was a great improvement. But having to plug the phone in every time for it to work was a little annoying. This bluetooth dongle works perfectly. I have it plugged in to the CarPlay USB port and it connects with my phone when I turn the car on, so I don't even have to take my phone out of my pocket to use it in the car. One problem is that it does not charge -- right now there are no bluetooth CarPlay adaptors that also use the Qi charger, so that's not a weakness of this brand. But I was able to just install a Qi charger in the cubbyhole under the stereo so when I do need to charge, I can just put the phone on that while driving. All in all, a great buy that worked instantly and seamlessly and I no longer have to take my phone out of my pocket and plug it in before CarPlay turns on.

Setup is easy, and Apple CarPlay does launch and you can use Waze, etc for Navigation. However, audio from your phone is not carried into your car speakers. As in phone calls, notifications from phone, etc.Also, if you have to use one of the converters, the vibration from driving will cause CarPlay to disconnect / connect frequently.Returning for refund.

It’s small, lightweight and simple to set up and I have not noticed any glitches.

Make sure you disconnect your phone from any Bluetooth car device. My wife has a Ford explorer where her phone was connected to the vehicle and there were times connecting to the sun kid was finding issues, after disconnecting from the vehicle we have not had any problems, works like a charm!
