It was challenging and for my grandson who is only just 4 and it had lots of opportunities to increase the challenges. The patterns were varied and enabled it to be graduated to meet the needs of a my four year old grandson. We were all impressed with its versatility. It was enjoyable for all.

I have had my eye on this game for some time waiting for it to go on sale. I wanted a fun beginning mental game to play with my 3-year-old daughter. This game does not disappoint. It is easy to understand, but difficult for a child to master. It even stumps me sometimes for a moment. The game comes with four sets of four blocks, each with a stand. It also has cards with examples to make with the blocks. We play the game by turning over a card and trying to match the design. The great thing is that you can randomly put blocks together and then use one of the other set to make the design that appears. I also liked that the instructions include other ways to play and match the pieces. This is a great challenging game for children and their parents. I would recommend it for a good gift, as well.
