Amazon Basics Ratchet Strap, Pack of 4, Rachet

Used these to secure items in a van for a house move. Did two trips without anything falling over, so they did the job and I would recommend if you are looking for these for a similar purpose. I hadn't really used ratchet straps before so wasn't quite sure what to expect or how intuitive it would be, but there are instructions included and they are really easy to use. My only complaint would be that on a few occasions they were a struggle to release - but they might have been me not extending the ratchet fully with the release button pressed.

The ratchet mechanism slips with very little tension. I strapped down a light load with 2 straps, within a mile both strap ratchets had given way making my load unsafe. I know not to expect too much from these cheap straps, but I did expect them to hold a light load safely. Normal bungee cords hold better than these. If I could give no stars I would. All 4 straps are now in the bin.

Die Spanngurte benutze ich für ein 320 kg Motorrad auf der Ladefläche eines Pickup zu verzurren. Sie hakeln manchmal beim festziehen, aber damit kann man leben. Ärgerlich ist nur, dass der überschüssige Gurtteil immer irgendwie untergebracht werden muss. Besser wäre es, wenn man den überschüssigen Teil aufrollen und z.B. mittels Klettband zusammenhalten könnte.
