I don't see why not. It surface mounts to the ceiling through four screws into rawlplugs. The supply wire comes through a grommet in the base so you may need to fit spacers if it will require clearance.

I don't like the blue cast in led lights and the very ...

I bought this for a 20m sq room I use as a study and hobby room. You can choose both intensity and colour temperature independently. It goes from very very bright to a dim but not so dim you could sleep with it on. I don't like the blue cast in led lights and the very warm white ones are a bit too orange, picky I know. You can get any mix you want out of this and it keeps the last choice you made when you turn it off with the remote.Its very good value and I intend to buy more.
