Celestion Vintage 30 Guitar Speaker, 8 Ohm

Love this speaker so much I ordered a 2nd one for my 5150 2x12 combo. Solid and sound awesome!

Sounds great...I put this speaker in a Katana Mk2...improved the sound greatly...more clarity and less harsh high fizz than the stock speaker...will buy more in the future

Swapped this with a Celestion seventy 80 , and what a world of difference. This is much clearer and louder. I have it in a 50 watt tube amp and it really sounds amazing! I’m not going with any other speakers from now on. Highly recommended!

Great upgrade. Put this into a 90's Fender Blues Deluxe and wished I had done it years before.

Will change any amp into the best amp you ever heard. I swap out an eminence redcoat for this and is Amazing. It made a great amp better. It will make your cheap amp great. Get it

I ordered two and came packaged well and made in UK. The pair “broke in” very fast. The noticeable difference was gone in a minute with a guitar amp. Speakers sound great!

I have experience with Vintage 30s in my Mesa OS 2x12 cab , and I wanted a similar sound but in a smaller package. I swapped one of these in an old Marshall MX112 1x12 lying around that I never really liked and holy cow - what a difference! Now this old cab that was just taking up space has a new lease on life and I plan on taking this out more than my other amps. Even at low volumes it sounds meatier and gives a lot more bass response like my Mesa cab so I bet once it is broken in at band volume level it will decimate all.

I finally decided to buy one these to mix into a 212 cabinet with another Celestion g12h. It really blends nicely, the g12h is kinda harsh somewhat and this V30 really makes it growl just as I wanted it to. Here’s my first thoughts and recommendations for someone thats has purchased this speaker or any new speaker. Mount it in your cabinet and play it, at first speakers will always sound thick and heavy sounding. So by playing through it more and more over time like say a few hundred hours you will hear a huge difference in sound because the speaker has to wear in so to say. Right out of the box is no way to judge your speakers properly until you have literally played them with everything you got. Take some time and listen how its responding and soon you’ll be so happy when one day you turn it on and think Wow its finally done. Your guitar will roar and cause that speaker to do things like never before. This speaker is great for any type of music when you just have to make adjustments on your amplifier and guitar. I highly recommend anyone who wants to have something nice to add to their equipment then get one or however many you’re gonna need to achieve your desired sound. Good luck Play It Loud

je l'utilise avec un H&K tubeMeister 18w et Ya pas a dire le hp c'est une parti importent su son !! avec le Celestion Ten 30 d'origine les disto bave trop avec le v30 problème de basse et d'aigue trop présente réglé en partie avec le changement de hp et avec un EQ 10 bande

This is fantastic! I bought this speaker to replace the Celestion 70/80 in my new Marshal DSL 40C combo amp, there's nothing wrong with the 70/80 but I was just curious to see if there might be an improvement in the sound. Let me tell ya, the difference was jaw dropping, suddenly it became became so much more articulate. Everything seemed to just tighten up and clean, revealing subtle differences I hadn't noticed before. Also the dynamic range increased tremendously but with no muddyness in the sound, it has made an already brilliant amp even better. To say I am blown away is an understatement, also comparing the two speakers after removing the original 70/80, I noticed the magnet on the Vintage-30 is over twice the thickness and size of the 70/80. The weight is also over twice as much in the Vintage-30, so in conclusion if you want to improve the sound of your Marshal DSL-40C. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra money on a Vintage-30 speaker, you won't be disappointed!
