OK, I have an inexpensive set of hoses that frankly work just fine (ie. they don't leak) but what a difference these quality hoses make. They are slightly longer and more flexible, so I'm not fighting them to keep my gauge manifold facing me when it's hanging. The well knurled knobs are about 50% larger diameter, which you would not think mattered much. But they are SO much easier to manipulate when you purge a hose, for example. There is more leverage when you re-tighten them, so you can feel them seat securely without wondering if you are crushing the life out of the seals. And the threads are much smoother. A nice upgrade if you can afford them.
