Okay ... This fits perfectly in the Nomad Lane Bento Bag and can be used to carry a meal in your carry on for a long flight as long as there are no liquids, creams, etc. Get the free ketchup and mustard at the airport! :-) Anyway, we took an entire meal using in one using the entire container so nothing got messy, smashed, etc. And, we still had our electronics, clothes, medications, , etc. in the Nomad Lane Bento Bag. I ended up loving this container and will use it on more trips in the future.

Best sandwich keeper when you are spending the day out on the water and you want to keep your sandwich fresh. We kept one sandwich in our sub container and one wasn’t in a container ( I have a second one, couldn’t find it that day) the Italian sub sandwich in the container was very fresh, bread wasn’t soggy at all. The sub sandwich that wasn’t in the container was starting to get soggy. These are great containers! Worth every penny.

We love our sub holder. When we open it up to eat sub we take the lid and use it for our chips! Works so great. Also FLOATS!!! Tried it out sub was also dry. No water got in

I brought 2 of these and ended up sending them back because they were about $10 cheaper at my local publix. Price wise steer clear ofAmazon. But overall they are a great product and no water got into the containers as we tubed down the river and one acutally feel in the water. They float and come with an extra screw top for either 1 6 inch or 12 inch sub. Great product and I will buy more just not on Amazon! I took off a star because thier are overpriced on Amazon.

I use this SubSafe to carry a sandwich when I'm traveling. It fits in my backpack and keeps my sandwich from getting squished.

OK, I originally bought this for trips to the river, but I found that I use it for so much more! I love buying sub sanwiches, and it is more economical to buy the larger size than mutiples of smaller ones, plus I live so far out of town that I don't like to drive that much. And the subs just don't stay as fresh in the packaging that it comes in. So, I started putting the remainder in my Sub Safe before refrigerating. I will note this, I found that if you leave the sub in the paper wrapping, the sub safe and/or sandwich can get some condensation, causing a not-so-good result. But, that is easily remedied, andd is not the sub safe's fault. I found that if I toss the wrapper of the sandwich in the garbage and wrap the sandwich in a couple of paper towels before inserting into the sub safe, the issue is solved! These even work as extra fridge storage for other stuff. I had made some homemade soup, and had some leftovers, but was short on tupperware containers, so I poured some of my soup into the long part, and put the short cap on it, and it worked fine for refrigerating my soup leftovers! No leaks, no spills, even though it was knocked over by someone removing something from my fridge. This was definitely a good buy! My sister has requested that I buy her some for her family's frequent trips to the lake.

My son buys subs every day, stores an extra in the fridge and often takes them for lunch. Bonus for me is that they're dishwasher safe. My son loves them!

Not worth the money. Every style sub I've tried in this just gets beaten up from travel. Waste of money

Claiming that this container can keep sub sandwiches fresh and not soggy is ridiculous. This product does not work. I am very disappointed. And I feel so stupid to have paid that amount of money for a piece of useless plastic. Can't return it - it would cost $20.
