I bought these for a slightly unconventional purpose: I needed locks for the sliding doors on my 120-gallon Phailozoo reptile enclosure. I saw several reviews mentioning that children were able to figure out how to open/pick the locks, which is definitely worth considering if you’re buying them for childproofing. Fortunately, my “child” is a ball python and has neither opposable thumbs nor access to paper clips, so that particular security flaw isn’t much of a concern for me 😂 I put one lock on each sliding door and so far they’ve worked perfectly for what I needed. They keep the doors from being opened and give me peace of mind that my snake can’t push her way out while I’m away. The adhesive was the one thing I was a little concerned about based on other reviews, but so far mine are holding well. I made sure to thoroughly clean and dry the surfaces before applying them and let the adhesive set before putting any tension on the locks. I’m including a photo of my setup because I spent forever trying to figure out how to securely lock the doors on this particular enclosure. These locks are very handy and useful if need to secure anything you don't want other people to have access. Medium size come with very good adhesive backing and seems very sturdy and strong quality. Locks come with four small keys. Overall all prices is very reasonable and cheap.

Easy to install perfect size plenty of keys and for the price it’s worth it to keep your beer safe the double sided tape has worked really well

This is my second one and it works very well so far. Just make sure before adhering it that there is enough room between the pieces to re-latch the cable comfortably. I had to remove and re-attach because it was too stretched out and hard to latch. The first was a type where it latched in. The kids kept ripping it off. It had double sided foam tape. I even replaced the tape twice and it still came off.

The fridge lock will not prevent obesity and with enough hangry rage can be overcome, but it is strong enough to discourage your toddler from eating sugary foods before bed.

Love this ! Keeps my toddlers from constantly going in and out of fridge and and leaving the door wide open !! Great value for the money, the adhesive is super strong, simple to use.

These work.great. My autistic son is a grown man now in race for refrigerator and eats all of the food in a sitting this way , I can put snacks in the smaller refrigerator and keep the big refrigerator locked or else he will dump everything out , and it goes in the trash. This is a great find.

I never thought I’d be someone to put a lock on my freezer but here I am making a review for them. At the end of the day, I don’t want all my food to go bad because I didn’t catch something in time. After the 5th incident of my kid not closing the stand up freezer door well enough or more so slamming it so hard that it bounced open, and us nearly losing all our food the last time. I decided it was time for a lock. It’s easy to install, dont need to drill in to anything. It comes with spare keys. I only really need one lock at the moment but I have like 3 other stand up freezers so if he decides to go into those unnecessarily I’ll put locks on them as well. I feel better having the lock on there as my kid is 5 and his listening ears aren’t great; now we won’t risk losing our food supply over popsicles and ice cream

Wir haben die Schlösser gekauft, um unseren Tiefkühlschrank in der Scheune kindersicher zu machen – und dafür sind sie wirklich perfekt. Unsere Kleinkinder hatten einen etwas ungezügelten Eiskonsum und außerdem wurde nach dem Öffnen des Tiefkühlschranks gerne mal vergessen, die Tür wieder richtig zu schließen. 😄 Mit den Schlössern gehört beides jetzt der Vergangenheit an. Die Montage war super einfach, da kein Werkzeug benötigt wird. Der Klebstoff hält bisher sehr gut und das Schloss lässt sich mit dem Schlüssel unkompliziert öffnen und schließen. Für uns eine einfache und sehr praktische Lösung, um den Tiefkühlschrank vor neugierigen kleinen Händen zu schützen und gleichzeitig sicherzustellen, dass die Tür nicht versehentlich offen bleibt. Klare Kaufempfehlung – deshalb 5 Sterne!
