Unless I need to learn how to read a tape measure, this items does not fit 1.25 as described.

This was a perfect replacement for our old aluminum pool pole cam that would not adjust. Now we can use the full length and lock the pole length in place.

I used these cam lock replacements to resurrect an old swimming pool pole whose locks had failed. The plastic used to make these seems of a higher quality than what came with the pole originally. I'm now able to use this pole for my pool attachments. Before purchasing, be sure your pole is in the range of 1.14 inches to 1.25 inches in diameter.

My pole is 1¼” diameter, but this item was ever so slightly too small to fit. Disappointed as per description this should have worked for my situation.

I got these before measuring my pool pole (from a big box store). Unfortunately, the clamping mechanisms on my old poles last less than a year. So, this new cam lock repair seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, I learned when I sawed off my old clasp that my pole was 1.5" in diameter. The listing says "1.14 to 1.25" so I knew this was not going to work. However, I have used some PVC glue and affixed the larger nut and this has made the repair feasible. Although this might not last given the support (and pole) doesn't fit all the way inside the screwing nut, I was pleased with how easy the cam lock allows me to adjust the pole. And when it's tight, the pole is firm....unlike my old pole. So, worth a shot to try and get your old pole working again. Just wish they had more flexibility in accommodating the larger diameter pole. The hardest part of this install was getting my old clamp removed.

Not as advertised. Both cam locks are the same size so it won't work for a 3 piece pole.
