Substrate - Orchid soil 10 liters Orchid soil Orchids are very robust and adaptable plants. The word earth is misleading here, since orchids are so-called air rogues. You do not need a real earth. They originally grow on trees and relate their nutrients and water from the air. Since the plant is not able to provide domestic conditions (very high humidity), its roots have to be kept in a special substrate in order to protect them from dehydration. The substrate must be loose and airy. Stunts must be avoided, since the roots would rot very quickly. Portion: 10 liters Purpose: Ground substrate for orchids Starting materials: Pine bark, peat, Styromull, charcoal, expanded clay and perlite Special feature: Secondary component is charcoal, antibacterial Weight: 2 to 3 kg
