Bought these to replace my original filters in my dyson, they do the job and fit perfectly, so much cheaper than they used to be too. They definitely helped improve the suction of my hoover after they were changed.

These are just as good as the originals but for half the price. No issues just swapped them over and the hoover works fine. Price (exceptional) an Delivery as expected.

So we have had our DysonV10 for 3 - 4 years. I cannot exactly remember but I found that blockage light lit on the machine after I emptied the waste basket one day. I checked for any blockages and took it apart a bit to see if there was any large items inside. Nothing was found so, as directed, I cleaned the filter. This did not solve the problem. The machine had good suction, so I thought. I looked at the filter and looked still clogged. I like to think that these can be washed and reused but realised that it was not letting much air escape so perhaps the machine was sensing this and thinking that it was a blockage in the machine. I saw the original Dyson part and it was £30. This filter looks like it serves two functions. First, filter the air coming in and also filter the air coming out. Looking on Amazon for a replacement one is easy but there are soo many to choose. This one looked on paper good value so this is the one we got. So how do you know that the filter quality is good? I would imagine that a little dust coming in is acceptable as it is not a laboratory inside so a little hair wont do any damage but a marble may do. These seem ok and yes they are a lot cheaper. I just felt the £30 was a little too excessive. Install as easy, just like the original. Once on and started the Dyson I soon realised that the level of suction with the old filter was pretty poor and that I had to keep using the mid suction selector all the time. The new filter was brilliant! Back to using the low suction setting now but the suction on the max setting was awesome. Did remind me why we got this machine in the first place. EDIT 18/10/2023 :- Something that I have noticed is that these seem to get clogged up more than the original. The blockage light does not come on but I have now noticed that the suction has been reduced and is noticeable. The filter was installed at the start of August 2023 and we use it pretty much everyday for about 3 - 4 minutes. This is not such an issue if you clean it more often then the Dyson part but I have two of these filter so it is not an issue. As to how long these last and after now many washes will they begin to degrade like the Dyson filer that seem to last a good few years.
