Also Abigail is now in my top 3 favorite vampires. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must see - must see - new spin on an old legend *by T***J on July 12, 2026* Spoilers - a really great spin on an old time legend of horror .. the vampire In my opinion ; this film was written well . The actors and actresses carried their roles out to the point you could kinda believe they could be thematic character . The sets were good and costumes worked they were not overdone to the “T” for the character yet simple and the house is brilliant. It is an amazing plot with wonderful twists like yes would a vampire actually be capable of being a good loving parent ?? And to a vampire child who could do absolutely anything; would you need to be around so much to protect them ? Let alone having your child be your well assassin…. I like the little jokes here and there during the action ;the jokes do not take away from the feel like it does in some movies and they are written and carried out well. A good cast or well knows and some maybe you haven’t seen. The action is good . It doesn’t look faked or staged . The gore may be alot for some ;there will be blood , maybe worse ,vampires and all . Not a kid “twilight” vampire movie , a teen movie and up I would say . To be able to appreciate the plot , the intensity , the loyalty and the betrayal. And to not have a young one up with nightmares lol. I really like this one . I have seen almost every vampire movie made( even foreign) and this is definitely one of my newer release favorites . It will make you feel sorry for a young vampire at times and want to stake her at others , the young actress did her part well . As you root for the kidnappers to love you are saying omg am I really rooting for them to get out of this unscathed ? It makes you think what you maybe wouldn’t have before about vampires , family , connections between people , and loyalty to those you love , this has it all .It will make u think what would you do in one of their shoes ??? From the beginning to the end I was engaged and glad I was watching it .I feel it is a must own movie . The end is a great idea ,I loved it .
