Amazing pegs
These pegs are amazing. They hold the clothes to the line even in high winds. They don't break and are easy to use. They may cost a little more than cheap pegs but they last much longer and therefore are great value.

Brilliant Pegs
These pegs grip clothes securely, and their easy push-on, pull-off design makes them effortless to use, yet surprisingly, holding a handful of them is easier than the spring-loaded pegs! But where they truly excel is in their wind resistance, I tested them myself, and they’ll even hold a soaking wet bath towel in high winds! For best results, I recommend pegging the towel lengthwise and using a few extra pegs, just to be sure. And here’s the best part, they’re proudly made in the UK, designed to handle even the harshest British weather with ease. An absolute must-have for any household!

Good quality pegs
Love these pegs, easy to handle and good for pegging out light and heavy items with a good hold. Good quality plastic.

very strong pegs
I bought these as I live up in the Pennines and was getting fed up with clothes blowing off the line due to inadequate pegs. So far these seem really good, they clip on easy and also easy to remove. They are expensive and, long term, the plastic probably will degrade with use and the sun, so not easy to predict reliability. Anyway, I'd say they are worth trying.

Really excellent pegs!
This was a repeat order, as I had already bought a packet a year or two ago. They are very secure pegs. They will definitely keep your laundry on the line in high winds. There are no moving parts (eg springs), so there's nothing to stop the grip working. They're worth every penny.

It's only a peg, but!
Spot on, we have a 'very busy' 20 room Guesthouse 35 yards from the Sea on the East Yorkshire Coast. Not as windy as the Outer Hebrides, but when we have 30 towels plus 20 bath mats out and its blowie they could pull the Titanic. Gets them dry quick though. Even sound for our Engineer Guests Boiler suits. We leave the pegs on the line 360 days a year, Rain cleans them, Sun does not make them brittle. Only down side, they do snap after a few years if I am all fingers and thumbs, only joking they are mint. Believe me, we have tried the lot over the last 30 years these are the best allrounder, they get hammered every day. Cheers Bob. PS cheap as chips as well. PPS I very rarely review stuff cos I am busy.

Oh yes, Supercalifragilistic!
Easy on, easy off and plenty of grip in between. I'm delighted with these pegs. I've used plastic dolly pegs for ages but they're so old they've been breaking up and my laundry falling to the ground. So, I found these and I'm very pleased with them. The grip is more secure than the dolly pegs and they slide in place just as easily. The little "nail head" makes it easy to pull them off and to push them down. Important to me in conserving my energy with Long Covid and when even the smallest exertion causes my hands to shake from exhaustion. Who knew lifting your arms up would make you feel like you've just competed in a triathlon... but that's what we are up against and it is frustrating, bitterly disappointing and challenging like never before. Hence my joy in finding these blue beauties! No rough edges or catching on delicate fabrics. (That's my issue with turning to wooden dolly pegs.) Nothing to go rusty. (I tried those all stainless steel ones before and they rusted in a season. What a disaster. ) I think they're well overpriced for a bit of plastic. And obviously I have concerns about their disposal at the end of their useful life. So the real test is to see how many years service I get from them? I'd be happier if the manufacturer and vendors offered a specific recycling and replacement system to ensure the whole life cycle is environmentally responsible. I think we need to keep end of useful life and disposal in mind so today's children don't find themselves neck deep in old plastic and trying to farm in heaps of the stuff. It's always difficult justifying purchasing plastics when there are better solutions for the environment, but every little bit helps.
