I got this pillow for two reasons:1) I wanted something to prop me up during evening reading and gaming.2) I needed something to ease my back and beck pain.This pillow does both wonderfully! I have used it nearly every evening for the past 6 months, and I feel the difference. The back and neck support is great and has brought my pain level to practically zero, and the armrests are the icing on the cake. (I also love the pockets on the armrests, best place to keep a water bottle so I don't have to reach for it.)The one thing I find difficult is putting the covers back on after washing it, as it's a bit tricky to a) get the orientation of the foam pieces correct, and b) fit the covers back on without smooshing foam too much.That being said, I will definitely buy this again when it needs replaced!

I’m 5'4" and ordered the medium size—it's a perfect fit! This pillow offers excellent support, conforming naturally to the curves of my head, neck, shoulders, back, and lumbar. It’s incredibly comfortable and makes sitting up in bed for reading or relaxing a real pleasure. The packaging was surprisingly compact, which made me question whether it could expand into a full-sized bedrest pillow. It arrived vacuum-sealed and double-wrapped in heavy plastic, so it took a little effort to unpack. But once I cut through the second layer, the pillow instantly expanded, just like the description promised. I waited the recommended 24 hours before using it, and it fluffed up beautifully. The Ivory color is soft and elegant, adding a nice touch to my bedroom decor. Overall, this pillow exceeded my expectations and delivers exactly what it claims.

Very sturdy and perfect color match to my furniture. The arm rests would have been better is they were longer and extended to the back of the pillow seat.It doesn’t work on the couch as I planned but I found another spot for it. I have an ottoman that is too big for the front of the couch in our small living room. It is currently at the end of the couch for additional seating.Our couch has very deep seating and I wanted to replace the back pillows I currently use but it doesn’t sit far enough back to be comfortable.

(That's what she said!)I sit in bed to write on my laptop a lot and this thing is perfect for that. It's super comfortable with great back support, and I also appreciate that the material doesn't attract cat hair even though it's black and I have a cat with white fur. I wanted to buy the smaller size, as I am short, but it was out of stock. For that reason, the attached neck cushion doesn't hit me in the right place and that was annoying, so I ended up cutting it off. It's also a big, bulky thing that takes up a lot of room, so if storage space is an issue, I wouldn't recommend it. In spite of those drawbacks, though, it's a great backrest for sitting up in bed comfortably to read, eat, watch TV, meditate, game or write on one's laptop.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose the reading pillow becsuase it looked like it would be very comfy and I was correct. The arms hitched by velcro and easy to adjust an a bit and it has a pocket big enough for a book or crossword puzzle book. The books I was able to fit in either pocket on the arms - 8x5 494 pages! It is a little big but it fitted on our duble bed. The color is great too. The arms are attached by velcro and this means you can remove the arms if you want.Size:[illpw H23"/W16 1/2"Pillow quality:very nice, the arms are well designed. You attach the arms by velcro - easy. one has a pocket 10 1/2"inches and "10 1/2" wide, comfy. the other arm has a pocket which is split in half with a seam - good place for pens or other small items.

I get migraines a lot, so the optional headrest is great- I like to sit up to do homework, watch videos, and play video games in my bed.The only issue I had was struggling to put it back on after washing it. It broke the zipper off, but I eventually got the zipper and main cover back on with some maneuvering lolI don’t use the side pockets, but they could be good for holding phones, little snacks, remotes, etc

The reading pillow is made very well and has a nice soft covering.Unfortunately, it was not comfortable for me. The pillow rest for my head was not adjustable. The incline of the pillow is not long enough to comfort my back.If you wish to return this item, and you’ve already allowed it to expand to its full size, there is no way of getting it back into the package to return it. I sent my comments but if case they did not go through, this is what I liked about it. The product assemply (minor) on the Google video was most helpful. It was super easy to attach the arms, it reached its full size and shape in 48 hours, (given it arrived is a small, vacuum packed package), it has great back support, the pillow is perfectly placed and it's quite soft. Love it. The main reason I picked it was the ability to remove the covering if washing should be necessary.
