Great addition to have for a long day hike, big enough to carry the essentials.
Its huge! But in a good way, not bulky. It fits so many of the necessities on a hike. Over Memorial Day I took it on an 11 mile day hike. It fit my car keys, snacks, phone, head phones, small first aid kit, and sunglasses with no problem. I like that it has the extra hip padding. It's also nice that you can carry it on your front, side or back of the waist comfortably and can move it with ease. I also like the cool tones of blues with a pop of color. It matches my hiking pack, (which is not Cotopaxi) very well! Comes with a warranty and so it's a great value for the money!I'm also looking at getting the 1L or 1.5L pack for my kids!Great item.

smart buy.
Purchased as a gift for an avid hill hiker that had a "fanny pack" on birthday wish list. My wife and I found this one to be head and shoulders above all others. Expensive? Eh... ! This is worth a few bucks more. Very rugged, made to last, stylist good looks. Safely holds and protects a cell phone, securely conceals passport, wallet and cash, keys, a pocket knife, small snack packs. And it is washable.

Perfect
Bought this for an international trip last summer that I did not want to bring a backpack on. This was the perfect size. was able to put all the necessary items with me (passport, wallet, hotel key) along with plenty of room to pack a rain jacket as well. Have used this many times since.

Well thought out design
I first bought this hip pack because I wasn't fully committed to a murse. I have used a backpack for most of my life to carry daily essentials, but after several trips, I realized I wanted something more compact that I could throw around my shoulder and know I have what I need without carrying extraneous items that just added weight and confusion. I was going to buy a Tumi bag, since I have a Tumi backpack and its been superb, but I didnt know if I was going to stick with the smaller pack slung around my shoulder for everyday use. So I purchased this hip pack. After several months I saw that it was designed so well that it achieves everything I wanted. So I just kept it. The front pouch flips completely open where I store sanitary wipes, a head lamp, nail clippers, tweezers, spare plastic bags, and a small first aid kit. In the organized slots I have a lighter, chapstick, pepperspray, keys, flashlight, and a roll of poop bags for my dog. The zipper pouch has a mesh zipper area where I have usb-c cables, spare batteries, and sometimes I throw a power pack in there when I know I may need an extra charge. I carry my airpods, pens, a leatherman, cloth for my glasses, a flip knife, and sometimes just random stuff. Then there is a hidden zipper pouch where I put my wallet, but there is also a pocket where I stuff a grocery bag. You can also slip the strap inside if you want to just carry it like a small pouch. This bag keeps me organized and its well made. I throw it around and beat it up on a day to day basis. I love this bag.

Perfect multipurpose bag for day to day or travel!
The media could not be loaded. This belt bag is perfect for longer trips especially those that are international. It has great storage capacity, contents won’t spill out and keeps everything super organized and easy to reach. We stored our passports medications and cash in this and wore it easily when we traveled. Plus the large exterior pocket is water proof so if you’re caught in the rain-you’re good! I also love the back hidden zipper pocket! Can be worn cross body or as a fanny pack. Gender neutral. Zipper system is anti-theft with the buckles that cover the zipper closures. Such a great bag.

The champion of waist packs
I love this thing. It's basically become my man purse because I love the style and it's the perfect size.I don't always feel like carrying a backpack and I don't always need that much space. This fits everything I could want on most days, and more.If I'm chilling I wear it as a shoulder sling bag, if I'm on my or doing something more active I wear it on my waist. If I do need a backpack I usually wear the backpack in addition to this, or put this inside the backpack. It's always carrying my car, bike, and house keys, my glasses or prescription sunglasses, wallet, work access keycard, pen, knife or multitool. If I'm traveling it's also loaded with snacks and my passport, and if needed I usually have an ultralight packable jacket also inside it.About half the time I also put my phone in the larger pocket. The smaller 1.5 size is too small IMO but this one is absolutely perfect.Definitely recommend if you're a gear junkie in need of a waist pack!
