Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer

It's my first time buying a wireless meat thermometer and I have to say that this one really makes life a lot easier when cooking meat. It gives you peace of mind so that you don't have to constantly check the meat every 5 minutes to ensure the oven's temperature is hot enough and that it's on the right track.The fact that the app has presets for how well done you want the meat, and its notifications, makes life a lot easier. The huge range on this thing gives you great flexibility and battery life seems excellent as well, and seems cheaper than the competition for what you get.My burgers came out perfectly the other day, and last night did a whole chicken - bit of a game-changer in that it freed up a lot of my time to do other things

It might work for all I know, but it turned up in a plastic bag (inside std Amazon cardboard package) without charging cable or instructions. I could charge it easily enough (std USB to USB C connection on the device which I have for other devices), but then clueless without instructions (although found what I think is the app, but it didn't pair) and, search though I might, found no instructions online. In the process of returning. In the meantime, I went with TempSpike instead. Same functionality, similar price, very nicely packaged, very clear instructions, easy to find and install app and, once charged, paired with phone no problem (instructions also available online, which given the bad experience with this product I took pains to check out!). Haven't tried the TempSpike "in battle" yet, but I'm quietly confident given my positive experience so far. Bit of a shame - I liked that the charger and booster are in wood rather than plastic, which tempted me down this route unfortunately, but the TempSpike, whilst "plasticky" still feels solid and it's just a kitchen gizmo at the end of the day, not a major kitchen feature!

Purchased this for my husband who is partial to a tomahawk steak. He bought a particularly chunky steak to test this with which he cooked in the barbeque. By all accounts it was cooked to perfection and husband was very happy not to have to keep removing the steak to check the temperature. He said it was easy to use, the app worked fine and he particularly enjoyed that it was called the 'probe plus' on the instructions. On offer so a good price in comparison to others.

Had an issue with probe, sorted out with a replacement. Great communication and service

First time using it and I keep disconnecting from the probe it is no good when I have to open my oven door just to connect the thing

Great product. Realised a few months ago that most of our Roast Meats (but especially Chicken) cooks to temperature far quicker than the estimated cooking time. Been using the BBQ thermometer for the last few months but a bit of a faff checking every 5 mins towards the end of the cooking time. This product made it much easier. Good App- no problem pairing- accurate thermometer all the way from fridge temps through to the final cook temp- all good/very happy.

Very disappointed with this thermometer.Works perfectly with the lid off my Weber BBQ but when I place the lid on, the probe disconnects from my phone. Tried this several times and each time the probe disconnects.Also states that the probe only works upto 100 Celsius! My BBQ’s are hotter than that, in fact most bbq’s get hotter than that.Maybe I didn’t read the description correctly but when cooking at that temperature and with the lid on I see this as a complete waste of money. Not even 1 Star.

Been using but your phone has to be in the same room to work so if you plan to do anything else then you won't be able to if you want to keep track of the temperature
