Great Timelapse camera!
Really impressed with this camera! I’m not a professional videographer so maybe someone who is might want something bigger and with better image quality, but this did exactly what I was hoping it would. I purchased it just before a beach vacation since I booked a house on the beach - I wanted to capture the waves and passing clouds; I got lucky with a storm that rolled in. The battery lasted all day and since it’s controlled with an app, the video downloaded right to my phone. I currently have it set up to capture my blooming orchid (which obviously takes longer than a day) so I have it charging while also recording. Very happy with my purchase!

A+ for the camera - F for the app. Recommend with reservations.
The reason it's 3 stars is only because of the app. This camera would be amazing if they would spend a few bucks and hire a good UX (user experience) professional and an app developer to improve the app so that ANYBODY can get up and running right away. If you're not tech savvy, you might throw your arms up and return this thing. If you are savvy or know someone who is, this is a really good camera to have. I work in tech and I'm still having trouble finding things in the app. The instructions give you the steps, but then the items it says you'll see, you don't see. Either it's an old Help procedure that hasn't been updated or it's just crap instructions. Either way, the poor quality of the app and lack of accurate and detailed instructions could definitely be a show stopper for someone who doesn't have patience. Once the camera is connected to your wifi, you can set a schedule for it to start and stop, and set the interval speed. This model doesn't do any zooming, close up shooting. But you can work around that. If you want close up filming out of the gate, you'll want to get their other model for zooming. I found that out after buying this. My workaround for that is that I just imported my video from the app to my iPhone pictures and I could zoom it there. So...this is clunky as heck with regard to instructions, help, and setting it up with Wifi. If it tells you you're not connected to wifi, just go to settings on your phone and re-choose your wifi name and then it seems to recognize it again. This COULD be a plug and play camera, it could be easy to use IF ONLY they would make the app user friendly and intuitive, put more navigation items in there and have accurate user instructions. If they'd just spend a few bucks to improve the app and make it easy for anyone to use, they would see their product reviews and sales improve. The camera itself is very nice and does fantastic time lapse filming. It's a shame their app is so poorly designed. Bottom line: The camera is great; the app could prevent some people from enjoying and using the camera.

No way to external charge a battery.
Be warned you will be trapped using the company's self made battery and there is no way to charge the battery external to the camera to have hot and ready batteries. There is alot going for this camera but it's frustrating. I'll keep using it till I find something better.

Good option for time-lapse photography
I was skeptical about trying another one of these cameras because they have notoriously bad documentation. It was a nice surprise to find that the camera with the app basically sets itself up. You scan the QR code and select you wifi and it does the rest. Mine didn’t have the expanded user guide but there is also a QR under the battery. I checked there before getting angry. :-) It comes with 2 batteries which is very nice compared to some other units. I think the setup to shoot time-lapse was fairly intuitive. Maybe not for some. The image quality is decent but only 1080 but I can live with that. The camera also merges the images to create the video so no post work is required for that. I like it. It does exactly what I bought it for.

No night vision
This is a pretty decent camera, I use it for close up shots when filming my wandering jew flowers. The mobile app is user friendly. This DOES NOT have night vision/infrared so you can't get night shots. Over all it's pretty good and I'm happy with it

Very good
Very good. You might need to purchase additional lens filter from their website.

Easy to use, captures bioluminescents.
Very shady and unreliable app with constant pointless updates. If you can't use the app the camera is a paper weight. Easy to use, no low battery anxiety, and captures bioluminescence.

Great little camera for the money
Bought this for mycology purposes. Wonderful for long term timelapse photography, as long as you have the unit plugged in. Not too impressed with the battery life.
