Amazing little cups - no leaking, hot or cold!
We make liquid nitrogen ice cream for our graduating seniors and their families, so I bought these little cups as low-volume serving devices. I mean, 6 gallons of liquid nitrogen ice cream costs us over $100, so we didn't want to be giving out 12-ounce servings, right? These little babies were awesome for the ice cream - they are sturdy and hold up well. We had a lot of them left over and have just used them for other things over the last couple of months. We served up affogato, straight-up espresso, tequila shots (after hours, of course!)... nothing phases these sturdy cups. I used one to grab some water out of the water cooler, put it down on my desk and then forgot about it (this was about noon-ish on a Thursday) as I worked in lab, then went home without noticing that it was still on my desk. On Friday morning, the cup was still there, some of the water having evaporated, but none of it having leaked out! I mean, it's a freakin' paper cup - I wouldn't have been upset (at the cup) if it HAD leaked - I EXPECTED it to leak! But it did its job with integrity intact.

Another success story in the short cup quest
I run a Nespresso machine at work and one at home (well, one Originaline). These cups are great for brewing double espresso or lungo in these machines, fitting neatly under the head of the brewer. And with these cups only costing six cents each (at the current $18-19 price), you won't hesitate to share them with family or coworkers. They don't add any flavors to the drink, and even when I brewed one and left it for a few hours by accident, they didn't leak.I'll be keeping a few sleeves at my desk at work for coworkers' caffeine needs, and keeping the rest at home. A great value and a great fit for my machines.

Used for ice cups
WE used these for ice cup treats to freeze. We didn't want it lined with any plastic. They are small but that was ok. We put water and fruit in them for an animal enrichment project. Perfect for our need. Because they are not lined (don't think they are) they may not withstand holding water for a long period of time.

Good eco-friendly alternative to plastic
These are nice small-size paper cups. They are about the size of a pudding cup, so not huge, but good for a small sample of a drink, snack or soup. They are sturdy enough to be left for awhile and still not leak. The paper is a dark brown color that can be written on with a sharpie. Because they are not super thick, if you are using them to hold hot liquids, you may need to wrap the cup with a napkin to keep the heat from burning your fingers.Overall, nice cups!

They do not work very well in a cup dispenser.
The cups are fine as long as you don't try to use them in a cup dispenser, they are difficult to separate, so they tend to come out if the dispenser several at a time.
