First time mom here so I wanted to be sure to be prepared. I got this kit not really knowing much about each product and why I would need it. However, after giving birth I had 3 tears that are SUPER painful. Besides the shedding of the uterus, it’s been pretty uncomfortable. I’ve used every product in this kit now and it has remarkably made my healing easier and I might even say faster. My favorite product is the foaming witchhazel pump which has proven invaluable everytime I use the restroom, it cools off and eases the pain. I also like the disposable underwear, the fit is nice and it’s a much more solid product than what I had from hospital. The peri bottle has been useful everytime I use the restroom and overall I love the products.

I absolutely loved the Postpartum Recovery Kit! It seriously had everything I needed all in one place. The disposable underwear were super comfy, and the instant ice maxi pads were a game-changer for relief. The quality of the ice packs was amazing – they stayed cold for a long time and really helped with swelling. The perineal healing foam and pad liners made everything feel so much better too. Honestly looking at the reviews, I thought I’d be missing an item but everything’s here! This is such a cute package for postpartum items! I can’t wait to use it. I’ll come back and update my review (:Update 11/1/2024: I’ve used everything in the box. The peri bottle was my favorite to use at the hospital and at home still. The spray is very nice and better than the bottle they give you at the hospital. The angle of the nozzle really helps spray water in areas that need it most! The cooling liners don’t really do much so I just stuck with using the witch hazel pads to really get that cooling sensation going on down there. The healing foam is a nice touch to add on top of the pads but I feel like the Dermoplast spray does the same thing but maybe a bit better so I switch from time to time. The disposable pads were my favorite until I started using pads from the store instead of the ones from the hospital. The adhesive is much more stronger on those pads so it pulls the fabric off of the disposables which is so sad because I really love the feel of the undies and would want to use it longer in a day but unfortunately cannot since it rips easily after a few changes. But I can honestly say these dispo panties are so much more comfortable and really holds the pads and Ice pack in place very well. The ice packs were a life saver the first two days after giving birth btw! I guess I would recommend this box to new mommies.

I got this and wondered if I needed all the things in the box, and even after receiving some supplies from the hospital after delivery.But the quality of the underwear is much better, and the water bottle is much more comfortable to use than the hospital one too. This is important because you are in a lot of pain and looking after a newborn so you need to be as comfortable as possible. The only thing I didn’t use much was the cold packs as I had some but then I found them useful for other purposes anyway. The caddy it comes in felt unnecessary but this was actually really helpful in keeping things organized when you really need it most. Highly recommend.

Some people say to not buy the whole box, and only buy what you need separately. For me, I didn’t know exactly what I would want and need, so it was just better to have everything on hand. And with this it all comes in one so I think it’s worth it.

I would personally recommend this to any mom but especially first-timers. Yes, it’s kind of expensive and you could probably DIY this and save some money… but you may not really know what you’ll want for your recovery if you are delivering for the first time.. The first week postpartum is such a whirlwind and a physical drain to your body, and having nice quality supplies on hand for your own healing will make your life so much easier. Buying this pack ahead of time and skipping the DIY padsicles means one less thing to worry about as you prepare for baby. This is a splurge that is worth it, mama!The Frida mom peri bottle is a cult favorite for a reason - and it lives up to the hype! I really loved the ice pack pads too and ended up sending my husband to the store to buy more when I used up all the ones in this kit. The healing foam and pad liners are also awesome, and the mesh underwear are the most posh disposable undies you’ll find - they’ll make you feel like a princess after wearing the diapers the hospital provides! This kit doesn’t have an exhaustive amount of pads or underwear but if you discover you like either of these or want to restock on the other items in this kit, all items are available for sale individually at places like target or CVS. Add to your baby registry or buy it for yourself, you’ll be happy you did!
