Easy to assemble

Ordered the pet barrier for my Sane Fe and very happy with my purchase. Easy to install but concerned it might rattle. No problem with any issues on my first trip. Dogs were safe and relaxed when traveling. Great value!

This product is pretty substantial and well made. But there are a few issues. The round washers used to hold the sides onto the main part will not work on an edge square. I had to grind off one side to get it to fit. They (the washers) should have come with one flat side. Second..., the clamps used to hold the unit to the seat backs just are impossible to work. The screws are too difficult to turn. I gave up and just used wire tie's. Infinitely easier and faster. This takes two people to install. Get the model with the straps, or just use wire tie's like I did. Once installed it works great.

We have a 100 pound great Dane. While this definitely does the trick to keep the cargo area clean from dirt and hair, there are some things about it that aren't great for our big guy. First, the material that's great for wiping down is too slick, and when he is standing in the back he slides around all over it every time the car moves and turns. Even when he is laying down sometimes he slides on it. The flap that folds down out the back for jumping up is nice, but his paws regularly catch it on the way up and end up dragging it in to the car. The window decals didn't stick very well, and ended up getting chewed up when they fell down. Also, the strings to hold them up on the windows were too long, so the sides didn't fit super tight. Finally, the adhesive on the Velcro strips that are supposed to stick the sides to the car didn't stay stuck on the car, so we're pretty useless. Overall, it's usable and somewhat effective, but I'm sure there's something better out there.

Works as advertised. Went into Audi Q6 and keeps dogs in the back!

This is a light weight barrier that is easy to put together and adjust. In my Jeep Wrangler I found setting it up high enough to block our puppy had it start interfering with the rear seat belts. Also, getting it up high enough also allowed said puppy to go under the barrier on the sides. SO it doesn't work well enough in this situation to make me enthused about it. The weight of it is fine unless your dog is more aggressive. I wouldn't have purchased it for the German Shepherd we used to own but we have an Aussie now and for him, it's perfectly fine. I waited too long to return the barrier so we're purchasing a second one that we'll connect with tie wraps below the first to keep him from squeezing around and coming into the back seat. Not an inexpensive solution but it'll do the trick. This issue is caused by the way Jeeps are constructed. If you have space to the sides of the rear seat you'll have this issue. If the rear seats are tighter into the sides of the car, then this will work just fine.
