Lovely shoes but they pinch inside of foot and rub

I'm a UK size 8. I ordered an 8. It says 8 on the shoe. My partner who's a size 10 found them too big. If I added 15 pairs of socks they'd have been too big! Bad fitting. I won't order the same again. Avoid.
