Works like a charm
The filter wrench gripped the toyota tacoma filter housing perfectly. Will not slip off like a cheap oilfilter wrench cup. The drain tube/ drain nut worked flawless zero mess and easy to turn with my fingers to attach and twist to drain the filter housing. The funnel has threads which is perfect because the angel of the fill on the tacoma. Finally a fill that I can use a 5 gallon jug and pour down the fill fast with zero mess. This set will last as long as your Tacos engine 1000%. I like the high quality material used in the fabrication process even with the funnel it's thick with no chance of coming off when screwed on. They even thought of a clear window on the filter overkill but if I was to design this setup I would over kill it also. With set you get more than you pay for. Thiscset made the oilchange hassle free and didn't get a drop of oil on my hands of driveway. Thanks for a quality product

Totally worth it.
Cleanest oil change I’ve ever done. Cannot say it helped me get it done any faster but the functional use was perfect. The filter wrench is a better quality than what you get from the box store. Worth every cent.

You need this!👍
Very Well made. I was concerned that the Filter cup without the 3 notches would be sloppy and not fit correctly. It was a Very tight fit on the filter housing. I used a socket on the filter removal cup and it worked perfectly. The drain line and valve setup is spot on. The oil funnel worked great also. No mess, and very simple.I am so happy I purchased this

A must
This is a pro level kit for our IS350. The filter cap is machined aluminum, fits like a glove and looks great. The filter drain valve is also aluminum and the valve works awesome for keeping things clean! There’s enough tube to cut to your desired length when necessary. The threaded funnel is great and the clear tube allows you to see when your quarts are empty. Everything is packaged thoughtfully and when I was done I wiped everything down and put it back in the box to keep it clean while storing it for the next oil change. If you care about keeping your car clean and making oil changes cleaner this kit is worth every penny.

Spill free.
This kit is well thought out, fits my Tacoma perfectly, and it just works. The filter socket is super nice. Didn't spill a drop.

Pricey But Nice
I just got a new-used 2017 Tundra and I'm gearing up for an oil change at 25K. The kit looks real nice. It's packaged like an elegant clock. Too bad the tools and box will be oily in a very short time. I'll get back to reviewing it when I've used it. I was kind of surprised that the hose came substantially attached to the drain tool. I wasn't necessarily planning on using it but just getting a bucket under the drain tool. I don't want to have to clean an oily hose, if I can avoid it, after every oil change. We'll see how it goes.I was surprised that the drain tool looks to be Nickle plated. From the pic I was expecting a brass fitting. That's at least what it looks like to me.From the YouTube videos it seems that without this drain tool it can be quite messy dropping the oil filter housing down without adequately draining it first even using the Toyota (supplied with filter) plastic drain tool.Update-I did my first oil change using this kit. The hose, for me, is not needed. I'm able to get a tall kitty litter bucket under the truck when it's up on ramps and this is far better than having a greasy hose to deal with. The funnel works very well but it is a little extravagant since a 99 cent one could suffice albeit not as well. The drain tool works well and I used a crescent wrench to snug it up to the filter housing before cracking it open for the oil to flow-about a half cup. The filter housing wrench is keyed to the filter which I didn't realized until I got it out. I'll know better in the future. The filter housing is threaded pretty deep so using a breaker bar ratchet with an extension is called for. So, all and all it is a useful kit if you plan on doing your own oil changes routinely. It obviously will pay for itself after the first oil change in convenience and avoiding a mess. But it is pricey-you definitely need the housing wrench, the spigot gizmo you might be able to get by with out although it could get messy. The hose and funnel are extravagant. The funnel assembly comes in two parts-the first screws into the valve cover and the second screws into the first part. The first part also screws into my Prius engine but there isn't sufficient clearance to attach the actual funnel itself. I'm glad I got it.I just did my 35K oil change. Removing the filter housing drain plug was a little tricky. The filter housing wanted to turn with the housing drain plug. Make sure you oil up the o-ring on this so this doesn't happen.

works perfectly on my tacoma and highlander
I have to say that I hate the oil filters in Toyotas. They can be unnecessarily messy to change out, but the drain tool makes it easier and cleaner. The filter wrench is solid, well made. I don't really need another funnel, but it's nice that it screws on. Toyota techs are known to over torque the oil filter. So when you do this on your own for the first time (like after the free oil changes run out), you'll likely struggle with the oil filter. I took a long time to finally get it removed. Subsequent oil changes have gone smoothly.

Convenient, greatly reduces cleanup.
The filter housing valve is a convenient and clean way to drain the housing before removing. The previous tech had set me up for failure and put too much torque on the drain plug, so the whole thing unscrewed for me the first time. When you set yourself up for success, this tool works great! The filter socket is very well made and I would not be surprised if it was found in your toolbox by your grandkids someday. The funnel is great, my only complaint is that there is a slight lip at thread-in end that holds a tiny amount of residual oil. If removed slowly, no mess. If you have a skid plate, you’ll still have a tiny mess from the engine plug. No brainer purchase for anyone that has ever had the filter housing slip and dump all the oil inside all over their skid plate.
