These premium-quality inserts are well-built. The set includes 150 pieces in different sizes, perfect for many DIY projects. They come in a secure plastic box with two clips for safe storage. I only needed the small ones, and for £9.99, it’s a great deal. I'll save the rest for future projects.

A good selection of threaded screws.I used them on some old cheap furniture that I had, including a large bookshelf that really has been bashed about between house moves.I was about to drill a pilot hole, screw them in (I found it easier with a hex bit on a drill), and then reattach some of the threaded pieces back into these inserts.They are sturdy and don't strip easily, but cut through the MDF-styles of wood easily. I used some on pine-boards too, and they worked well once I had the pilot hole right.A nice selection, good casting of the metal, and it's one of those things that you don't often need but when you do you really need the right insert to make it work right again. No more wobbly furniture!

Poor info on using no instructions on drill sizes to use

These worked well for me. Needed a bit of testing to get the right size bits for the different sizes but that was pretty easy to do. You also need to then find the right size allen key, which took me a lot of scrabbling about in my bits box 😂 oh well.Beyond that, they seem pretty solid good quality bits, good enough for my needs at any rate! They're a useful thing to have around if your making something that might need putting together and taking apart several times, better than just screwing and unscrewing into wood

These inserts are for using standard sized bolts in chipboard planks, such as wardrobes and kitchen units. My intended usage is for improving the shelving in some of our kitchen cupboards where the more usual triangular plastic shelf supports are not able to take the weight. I should be able to screw these into the cabinet sides, then screw some bolts into them, and support the shelves on proper supports on the bolts.Supplied is a good selection of various sizes, so you should find something in this set to meet your requirements. One possible downside is some sizes are only supplied in a quantity of 5, others are in quantities of 10 or even 20.Each screw is well made, with nice threads, and a decent Allen/Hex bit to allow you to screw the insert firmly into the chipboard. A hole needs drilling first, and it would have been nice if the required drill size could have been printed on the case. In many cases, on standard chipboard thicknesses, you would need to drill all the way through, so these might not always be suitable if it will show. Where they are suitable, however, it is a better job that those plastic clips or glued dowel pins.At £13 at the time of review, its a nice, comprehensive set to have if you are unsure what size you actually need for a project.

Passen perfekt. Man hat auch eine sehr große Auswahl an Längen und Durchmessern. Eigentlich brauchte ich eine einzige Größe, habe aber zum Glück dieses Set gekauft, denn nach wenigen Tagen brauchte ich eine andere Größe. So habe ich jetzt alles schon da, für neue DYI-Projekte. Super!
