Block looks fantastic and knives are excellent quality. Pricey but worth it for the quality in my opinion.

Design and shape and colour

Great set of knifes. Looks a little different from the photo because it’s just a sticker over the front not painted and destressed wood. But overall looks nice in the kitchen.

The knives are of good quality and has a wonderful feel and balance in your hand. They are light-weight and the blades are of great quality. However, the block, on the amazon pictures has the appearance of being made from several wooden planks/palette wood with a distressed look - when it arrived it was a solid block with something like a sticker or laminated "cover" stuck onto it. it is indeed not made up of several planks. The actual look of it is very disappointing since it just looks like a cheap imitation of the actual "up cycled" look I believed it aimed for. Accordingly, I do not only feel that it was deceiving but that it was also not value for money seeing that I did not receive what I had expected or hoped for.

I’ve had these for three years and they are still sharp. Actually only used for 18 months equivalent daily use as they are in a second home. Big disappointment is that the two most used have cracked and then disintegrated on the handles. It says dishwasher safe but a rider in the description says you need to remove straight after the cycle and who will always remember to do that. So I would say only purchase if you always hand wash them. I like the look, don’t think it’s cheap looking as some reviewers say.
