Seller reached out and made it right. Review: Only lasted 1 month before piece cracked - Poorly made and lots of connector pieces. Heads also get calcified quickly with hard water and stop misting. After one month a connector piece cracked and water spews everywhere at connection site. Reached out to their support for replacement and have heard nothing.

Highly recommended
I recently purchased the Homasky Standing Misters for my patio, and it has been a game-changer for the hot summer days. The adjustable height feature is perfect for different outdoor settings, whether Iโm lounging by the pool or hosting a barbecue. The setup was a breeze, and I appreciate the portability of the unit, making it easy to move around as needed. The misting system provides a cooling effect that is both refreshing and effective, creating a comfortable outdoor environment even in the peak heat. The flexible mist tube allows for customizing the misting angle, ensuring that the entire area is covered. Iโve also noticed a significant reduction in flies, which is a big plus. The high-quality materials and durable construction give me confidence that this mister will last through many summers to come1. The leak-proof nozzle is a standout feature, ensuring that water is used efficiently without any mess. Overall, Iโm thrilled with my purchase of the Homasky Standing Misters. Itโs not only a functional addition to my outdoor space but also a stylish one. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to beat the heat and enjoy their outdoor space to the fullest.

Fun
Just received this and set it up for test run for an about an hour, so no extended use yet. It's kind of fun, although it looks like you'd eventually get pretty wet if you sat in the mist area for more than 10 minutes. A couple things to be aware of: 1. It comes with some hose-end gaskets that have screens in them. I had to use these in both ends of the 1/4" hose that comes with the mister in order to stop the leaking. So, one at the hose/spigot connection and one at the female end that threads into the bottom of the tube that feeds the mister spray nozzles. There were two extra. 2. One of the mister heads had a slight leak where the water was jetting out in a fine strand. The spare parts bag had 3 extra spray nozzles "just in case". These are a push-in-to-release quick connect - I swapped out the one nozzle with a spare and it was fixed. 3. Yes, you have to use teflon tape on all threads. Including unscrewing the adapter at the bottom of the tube that leads to the mister tubes / nozzles and wrapping the exposed threads. It's a bit easier if you wet the tape first as it sticks better for a tighter fit 4. The tripod legs spread out but do not lock: it's not going to stand up to kids bumping it. The feet have spikes that could possibly be pushed into soft ground, but I didn't try. They're plastic, so force with caution. I'd say it also needs to be on fairly level ground. 5. Mist is fine and drifts easily, but generally is immediately felt in about a 3 - 4 foot radius from the center. A light breeze will carry it several extra feet downwind. This is not a sprinkler and won't mist you're whole backyard. 6. There is a friction lock so you can raise and lower the height of the mist nozzles - which also can be bent to adjust direction and altitude - but really it tops out at around 4 feet from the ground unless you put in on a table or such. Otherwise, it works pretty well for the ~35$ I paid for it. Going to be hot this weekend, so that will be the true field test.

2 broke within days of arrival - UPDATE
So these had promise until the fell over. The first one fell over and the connection point between the tripod and the fitting broke. I wrote it off as "sometimes things break". The second on fell over the next day and broke at the same spot...this happened right in front of my eyes. It was in grass and landed very softly but broke at the same spot! This is not a coincidence...this is a cheap product. I would avoid this product...the tripod is shaky to begin with and they are destined to fall over...and for me I had 2 fall over and each broke the first time they did. One more thing...they were less than a week old. UPDATE 7/8/24 So the seller did reach out and offered me a full refund...did not have to return the broken products...customer service was great. A new model will be released soon that addresses this issue...they are sending me one to test...I'll let you know. Thanks.
