Excellent binoculars and great after sales service
I bought these binoculars to upgrade an old pair I use for bird watching and walking. I spent some time researching different pairs and decided on these based on quality and price. For the money these bins are a superb buy. The image quality is excellent and they are light but sturdy and extremely easy to use.A friend was so impressed with them that he immediately ordered a pair!In addition, when a small problem arose with my pair, the company replaced them with no further discussion even though the problem was only a very minor one. A standard of customer after care that you rarely get from larger companies. All in all I am really happy with the binoculars and extremely impressed with the supplier's after sales service.

An excellent product at a very competitive price
An excellent product at a very competitive price. I had a minor issue with the strap that was supplied and brought this to the attention of the company involved. This issue was resolved without delay.

Good build. Good price.
I was intending to buy one of the more expensive Nikon binoculars but searching around I spotted these Dehlzer 10x42, read the reviews, and bought them. The price is good and on first glance seem well made. I've only used them out and about in the garden but I can see that the image is very bright and the focussing very easy. I wear glasses and that's not a problem with these binoculars. They are heavier than I expected but nevertheless the weight helps stability. The case and neck strap are quite basic and fitting the neck strap will provide a bit of 'entertainment'!The instruction leaflet is a bit misleading and this is reflected in some of the reviews. I have seen this same instruction leaflet with various other brands of binoculars in the same class (all made in China) so I suspect it is some sort of 'generic' leaflet. It would be good if there were instructions specific to this brand and model but a bit of familiarity with binoculars and experimenting will help in figuring things out in any case. I had no problem with the diopter adjustment or the eyecups (rotate to adjust). I cannot see that I would have much use for the tripod bracket supplied. I am a little bit concerned about the warranty as it seems a bit vague and limited so I am hoping that nothing will fall off or cease to function! All in all I am happy with the quality and build of the binoculars and am looking forward to getting out and about for some birdwatching.

Powerful, Light, Clear and Strong.
Given as a gift for a 13 year old who hikes, sails and spends a lot of time in the countryside. He is absolutely over the moon with them. When I tested them I was surprised by the power and clarity of the image from such a small binocular. It's easy to hold with a fully rubberised body and looks and feel rugged. Setup and focus is simple, your fingers just go to where they need to be. Tripod mount is a standard fit. Came with a comfortable neck strap and protective case. This is a very well designed item both optically and practically and would suit anyone who wants binoculars to be simple, strong and powerful but unobtrusive. Oh, they look good too. Rapid delivery. Thank you.

A high quality product at a reasonable price
As other reviewers have said, this is a quality product. Dehlzer in the product info were keen to show that their internals were genuine quality parts rather than fake ones you can get for "bargain prices". You very much get what you pay for here. Everything about these is quality, from the finish, to the focussing and clarity of optics. The tripod adaptor will be great for getting steady views without getting tired arms. Strap fitting took a while to work out and perhaps a note explaining the best way to thread this would have been good. They are chunky and heavy as you would expect, as the lenses are presumably high quality glass. If they were too light, I would have been worried. Overall a great product.

Good image and handling, but a few quirks
I took a gamble buying these binoculars over a better-known brand; the vendor's stated willingness to give a full refund was part of the reason I was willing to take this risk -- probably I would not have done so otherwise, even though the product is about 40% less expensive than comparable well-known brands. It's difficult to judge what binoculars are like to use, without actually having them in your hands and up to your eyes. For the record, my main application is target spotting when shooting, but I will most likely use the binoculars for general nature purposes as well. The binoculars feel solid and sturdy in the hand. Focusing is smooth and fairly rapid. The image is clear without evident fringing across the whole field of view. They are heavy for long-term use and to carry, but no more so than similar products. It's easy to get a proper, three-dimensional image in most conditions, suggesting that the optical axes are properly aligned. I was able to use them with and without my spectacles, but there were slight problems with adjustment in both modes (see below). There's a no-frills, but perfectly serviceable, neck strap. There's also a tripod mount, although I haven't used it yet.On the whole therefore, they work. But...There are a few odd and slightly disconcerting issues.1. Although the instructions say that there is a scale to record the inter-pupillary distance (to make it quicker to fold out the arms into operating position) my unit had no such scale.2. There are independent eyepiece focus adjustments on both the left and right tubes, as well as a main focus wheel. The right eyepiece adjustment has a scale, so I guess that's the one you're supposed to use. However, it isn't clear to me that either of the eyepiece adjustments has any significant effect on the focus.3. The eyepiece adjustments screw out about half an inch. If you do need to use the full range of adjustment (and if it actually does anything) you're going to have a very off-centre orientation. Or a pain in one eye.4. Although the objective lenses have captive covers (which is good) the eyepieces have detachable covers (which is less good). So to use the binoculars you still need to put bits in your pocket or somewhere. It's not as convenient as it should be.5. The instructions say that the eye cups fold down for use with spectacles, but mine do not. I think they are permanently folded down, which is good for spectacle use, but perhaps less good otherwise. These points mean that these are probably the only binoculars I've ever used that I prefer to use with my spectacles on, than without them. Without my spectacles, I can't get enough adjustment on the eyepieces to accommodate the differences in my eyes; moreover, the eyecups don't block extraneous light without spectcales, because they are permanently folded down. The field of view is slightly less wide with spectacles than without, but it usually is with binoculars. The vendor does not quote a figure for eye relief, so far as I can tell, and I find that I do have to press the eyepieces hard against the glass of my spectacles for them to work properly.I should point out that 10x magnification is about as high as I would consider using for unsupported hand-held use. Most nature and bird-watching binoculars are 8x. For my application, though -- looking for bullet holes in a target 100m away -- the higher magnification is a bonus. In short, these binoculars work, and they're decently priced compared to the competition, and seem to perform optically at least as well. However, there are a few oddities that make it hard to recommend them without reservation.
