An Excellent Motorcycle Bag
I know most people are here buying this for a CCW but I bought this product with the sole purpose of carrying my action camera equipment and a few other EDC items like my wallet and battery bank while riding my not, since storage is minimum on my bike. Mind you I’m using the XL variantPros:- I ride a yzf-r6r and this a a great solution for carrying all my essentials while I’m doing mountain runs.- Plenty of room, while NOT looking excessively big on your body to the point where it’s awkward looking. extremely comfortable and easy to adjust on the fly, and my favorite part is how the straps aren’t just dangling around like most other bags.- There’s plenty of compartments so you can keep your essentials separated. Id say the bag over all is extremely well built.- I did get the all black color and I love how this bag looks as well, very sleek and a bit of a tactical look to it.Cons:- The only problem I have with this bag is I wish the zippers were higher quality like “YKK” zippers or of a sort. I’d happily pay more money for smoother and much more reliable zippers.- Not to say these zippers are bad but they seem functional with average build quality.Conclusion:- I was extremely happy with my purchase to the point where I legit went out my way to review this.- Mind you my main focus is a storage solution to carry my action camera equipment and EDC items while going fast on a motorcycle.

Eberlestock Bando Bag - Tactical Fanny Pack for Everyday Carry
The Eberlestock Bando Bag redefines the humble fanny pack as a rugged, purpose-driven everyday carry (EDC) solution for those who prioritize function and durability. Designed with tactical sensibilities but versatile enough for urban use, this pack strikes a balance between military-grade toughness and practical organization. Here’s how it holds up as a daily essential carrier:Build Quality & DesignCrafted from 420D Cordura nylon, the Bando Bag is built to withstand abuse. The fabric resists tears, scuffs, and light rain, making it ideal for outdoor adventures or city commutes. Reinforced stitching and robust zippers inspire confidence, ensuring gear stays secure even during rigorous activity. The low-profile design keeps it from looking overly bulky.Storage & OrganizationThis isn’t your average fanny pack. The main compartment is surprisingly spacious, easily swallowing a large smartphone, wallet, keys, multitool, flashlight, and even a compact water bottle. Interior mesh pockets and external zippered organizers keep smaller items like ear buds, pens, or ChapStick neatly sorted. A hidden rear pocket sits snugly against the body, perfect for a CCW.Comfort & WearabilityThe adjustable, waistbelt distributes weight evenly even when the pack is fully loaded. Wear it around the waist, sling it crossbody, or clip it to a larger pack—the Bando Bag adapts effortlessly. That said, the tactical belt buckle, while durable, can feel over-engineered for casual use and may dig into the hip if overtightened.VersatilityEberlestock’s design shines in its adaptability. Beyond EDC, it’s equally at home on hiking trails, range days, or travel excursions. Its muted color options cater to tactical enthusiasts but remain subtle enough to avoid shouting "militarized" in public settings.Potential DrawbacksThe tactical vibe won’t appeal to everyone. If you prefer sleek, minimalist designs, this might feel too rugged. While not oversized, the structured design adds slight bulk compared to ultralight packs. It’s pricier than basic fanny packs but justifies the cost with premium materials.VerdictThe Eberlestock Bando Bag is a stellar choice for EDC enthusiasts who value durability, organization, and versatility. It’s ideal for outdoorsy types, tactical gear fans, or anyone tired of flimsy packs that fail under pressure. While the militarized styling and modular features might be overkill for purely urban use, its practicality and bombproof construction make it a worthy investment. If you’re ready to embrace the fanny pack renaissance with a no-nonsense attitude, the Bando Bag delivers.Best For: Hikers, travelers, tactical gear users, and EDCers who want a pack that works as hard as they do.

Awesome XL Bag
Love the bag just got it a few minutes ago and works wonders for my EDC. Love the quality zippers, pockets, material fabric feels tough and durable. The extension strap the XL product version comes with makes it able to be worn as an over the shoulder bag. Thanks to the olive colored soft fabric on the inside I am able to see what I have stored inside more easily. Overall love this product first impressions makes me think I’ll get a couple of years of good use.

Discrete
PROS:I have a couple of off body carry options to choose from. This bag, I must say is the least conspicuous when it comes to concealing that you have a firearm. The center pocket is large and easily accessible with a bunch of storage options. One of my favorite is the tourniquet elastic holder. Keeps it handy and secure with plenty of pockets for extra mag, small flashlight, pen, and my multitool. And you still have the very front pocket for your wallet or keys. The firearm compartment is the prefect size to hold my XD 9, 3" subcompact. Anything larger and you'll need to order the larger bag. Even though it can be used as a "sling bag" it really works best as a fanny pack. You'll need to purchase a holster for the bag. It comes with a small elastic band that's kinda useless. I bought an M-Tac velcro holster that works beautifully. The construction of the product seems to be very sturdy and solid. Buckles are thick plastic with a heavy duty feel. Overall I would recommend this product for an off body carry option. Hope this helps you out in your search.CONS:For the price, It doesn't come with a universal holster. And the compartment that holds your firearm does not fully open. It sits straight out like a tray. I would prefer it to fully extend downward and out of the way. Even though the finger holds are large and open smoothly. You need both hands in order unzip the compartment fully. Only then are you able to access and obtain a solid purchase of your firearm. A ONE handed opening pull tab would be my recommendation as an option. Especially when a split second can make all the difference.
