PrimusTrailbreak Vacuum Flask 1.0L

Arrived yesterday & my first impression was how light it is. Very much so.The second thing that struck me was that the slightly narrower bottom actually does allow it to be more easily fitted into smaller spaces, or even in the Nalgene bottle sizes pockets on an EDC bag, such as a Versipack.The next thing I did was to immediately try the heat retention by filling with coffee & using throughout the day as I travelled around. On filling the flask at midday, I was still able to enjoy warm coffee at 2145 & this after using the flask throughout the day, so that was pretty impressive too. I plan to test it again & see how long the coffee will stay hot when unused.I've not used the direct-pour top yet, since that's not why I bought it, though I have read reviews that suggest heat retention is less effective but not by much. However, the fact that the cup on top is also apparently double skinned so that adds to this being a far more efficient heat-retaining vessel.In short, I love it & recommend it happily

Very good thermos.Keeps temperature very well, like every other thermos bottle, I guess, but it never leaks and the cup is very good to drink from, as it's quite big and stays cold in your hands. Also the body of the bottle stays cool.The rotating sealing system seems to work fine too. The button ones always fall apart after some months. This one looks stronger, I hope.I looks good also.

It looks good, feels good. You boil the water, heat the flask first then fill it up. The first use is of that temperature but on second use there is a huge difference, a lot of the heat is gone. Third use, I would only use it if I was desperate.

It is great flask for any activity! It has durable coating that is not easy to damage in normal usage. Interesting body cone form allows you easier fit it into side pockets. Also holds temperature very well!

It’s just okay. The form factor is the greatest asset: it’s the perfect size to fit into backpacks and large car cup holders, but the actual performance is subpar. Heat retention is slightly below a Stanley I use, and DRAMATICALLY worse that the best I’ve used: Thermos’ top line stuff. It’s also more expensive that those. The caps are a nice touch, but the thread on one isn’t easy to align. Overall It’s not something I’d buy again or recommend.

This thermos keeps tea steaming hot overnight, as long as it's preheated and filled at boiling temperature. Everything works exactly as advertised.
