Highly recommended!
Bought this as was having problems starting my car and a well known garage told me it wasn't the battery! Arrived the same day at an excellent price and started the car first time, every time. Small and very well presented, extremely well made, very handy to keep in the car, easy to use and quick to charge. Very happy with my purchase!

A neat and well made piece of kit
I've just taken delivery of this Povasee Car Jump Starter, and I'm pleased with what I see. It seems to be well made, and comes with a sturdy hard case. It also comes with a USB to USBC cable. The input port is USBC and the two output ports are both USB. All the bits fit neatly into the case, which is approx. 19x11x11 cms.It came with a small charge, and when attached to my computer it charged fully in about 3 hours. The documentation recommends that it should be topped up every 3 - 6 months. There are 5 little LEDs to tell you the state of charge.I haven't needed to use it to start my car, and hope I never do, but it's good to have it in the boot just in case. It might also prove useful to use as a power bank to charge phone etc. If I do need it, it should have plenty power for my 3.0L diesel. My only concern is that the jump start leads are quite short. They are fine if you are clamping on to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. However, I'm told that with some modern cars, particularly those with stop/start mode, you can't use the negative terminal and have to earth elsewhere. I suppose that might be a problem if there isn't something else under the bonnet close by.

A MUST HAVE!!
So, I drive a 4.2L V8 Audi which has recently developed an intermittent fault with the MMI interface (long story) causing battery drain. Anyway, had to attend a local meeting, jumped in the car and, Sod’s Law, the battery wouldn’t fire up. With 14 mins to get there, decided to try this bit of kit.Instructions and set up v easy to follow, but I still didn’t know what to expect! Plugged the leads to the terminal, pressed the RDS button, jumped in the car, turned it on and ‘bang’! Instant start. I couldn’t believe it! Ordinarily I’d have had to ask a neighbour for a jump start. The whole process took c5 mins and I arrived 2 mins late to my meeting. An absolute brilliant piece of kit. It’s so compact as well, couldn’t believe how small it was. For all car drivers, it’s worth keeping this in your car. You’ll never know when you, or someone else, might need it.

Small but Powerful
What can I say. This may look very small but it packs a powerful punch. After being stranded with a flat battery a few days ago (at least at home) I had to put my nearly 40 years old trickle charger on it.I thought I must get a new jump starter kit. With loads to choose from I came across Povasee Jump starter with good reviews so decided to get it.Well 2 days later car wouldn’t start again so the Povasee jump starter got its first go.I plugged the starter into the pack and clipped the cables onto the battery and the car roared in action straight away.Less than 30 seconds and I was going again.Fantastic product.Comes in a very nice hard case and can easily be stored away in the boot of a car.

Brilliant easy to use pack
I bought this battery jumpstart kit after buying my son a used car.Everything was fine for two weeks then the battery would just be flat every morning. Not having the time straightaway to find out what was draining the battery I bought this battery pack. One of my friends has a more expensive jumpstart kit, that cost over £130 and saw this one for a fraction of the price and thought why not.It came with 100% battery charge and fired up my son’s car and only used 2% battery., that cost over £130 and saw this one for a fraction of the price and thought why not.It came with 100% battery charge and fired up my sons car and only used 2% battery. It’s been in daily use And starts the car with use. I’ve now found out the root cause of the battery drainage and sorted that issue but will always keep this jumpstart kit on hand as it’s brilliant and well worth the money.

It Works!
Given my old Toyota struggles to start even at 0 degrees, last night it was -7 so I did my usual attempts to start it and it huffed and puffed and spluttered and slowly the power began to drain from the battery...so if ever there was a time to try out my new Povasee, this was it. Got it from the boot (I had already charged it fully, although it came part charged) flipped the bonnet, attached the clips switched the unit on...lights flashed as they should. Hopped back in turned the key...and very little more power. So, apart from being disappointed and confused (I'd read loads of great reviews on this unit) I was now freezing and no way was it going to start this engine which was like a 2.2 litre block of ice...and a diesel to add further problems to a cold start. So, stomped back inside, had a cup of tea, checked instructions again - seemed as if I'd done it correctly. Waited until day light came and then thought I'd give it one more chance...back I went, flipped the bonnet, attached the clips on the negative and positive, but this time spent a little longer making sure they had a good contact. Back in the car, turned the key and ...bloody hell, it was like I was channelling lightening through the key, I've never heard my ignition and starter turn the engine like that, bingo, engine kicked into life !!! Moral of the story, this works and it works well, but don't be a plonker like me, make sure the clips get a really good contact on the battery terminals. It's going to be -10 tonight, but having experienced that power, I feel confident it wills tart it tomorrow. Really impressed and bought it in the sale so a good price. ALready saved me calling out the AA and taking a hit on my next quote. Brrrr.
