Fantastic value for money!
I am stunned at how cheap this speaker for the quality of product. The sound quality is fantastic. I purchased for this my local pub quiz that I host and it can be heard right across the pub. The Bluetooth is seamless and the microphone quality is excellent. The ability to wheel it all around with ease is wonderful. And the fact it is able to be used without being plugged in is a massive advantage. I’m so impressed by this purchase - Thankyou Fentons!

Just what I wanted, and a little bit more
Very impressed with this speaker. I had been searching for a suitable speaker to replace an old guitar amp that I used for the occasional performance and lent to the local church for their outdoor services. I wanted something fairly loud, but it's a nightmare trying to deduce the comparative volume of speakers which advertise themselves as hundreds of Watts, and then when you investigate you can't unpick (or I don't understand) enough to work out just how loud they actually are (dBs, RmS, output power etc all becoming a mystery). I took a punt on this based on other reviews, the size of the speaker and what I could interpret from the description of the wattage. I was also considered the weights of the unit - too heavy and it would be inconvenient, but if they were too light I was doubting that they could actually be decent build quality, a hefty amp and speaker and a decent battery. This speaker ticked all the boxes for me - wireless mic and Bluetooth streaming is probably going to be all I need, but with sufficient inputs that I can use additional mics, inputs and stick in a USB stick. Easy to pair the Bluetooth (confused me initially as it didn't appear as Fenton, but that aside, it was a doddle). Microphone and streaming are great, and I've tried it with a USB stick and the remote control. The sound quality is very good, and it seems to handle bass very well with a nice deep sound from that 15" speaker. If you're wanting to fill Wembley stadium then this might not be for you, but in terms of something that is going to be loud enough for almost any internal use and medium size gatherings outside, I would highly recommend. It's easy to pick up and move with one hand, but the fact it has wheels and a pull handle will be useful. I tried it on the battery with the lights turned on (can't imagine they are going to be used much, but easy to turn on and off, and might be nice for a party). Sound quality still seemed to be great - in terms of volume, I cranked it up to the max just to see if it distorted, and it didn't seem to - but couldn't sustain that for long as I was getting dirty looks and something nasty mouthed at me by my wife, so I had to turn it down - but enough to prove it's more than loud enough inside. Very nice bit of kit and I am glad I got it (incidentally, not sure of the pricing strategy, but the 15" version was only £1 more than the 12" version on Amazon - it is a little heavier according to the spec and obviously I haven't been able to compare the two side by side, but if you're wanting plenty of oomph and you aren't fanatical about getting a smaller or lighter unit, I don't see why you'd want the 12" version - but that's a completely uninformed view. Hope this review is useful.

Great wee speaker, crystal clear integrated wireless microphone
We're impressed with the units portability, compact size & it's light weight. This is ideal for our charities function hall venue with a 140 person capacity. Also quickly connects to pre-paired Mobile phones, upon switching back on. Speaking about the wireless microphone 🎤 (sorry for pun) it's possible to stand course to the soaker component, without suffering any feedback wailing. This is especially important, as oor Charity members like to stand close to the speaker, while singing. The sound is crisp and clear with no disconnects, pops or hisses (unlike some wired mics which can drop with cable movement) I would have rated the unit as 4 stars, as I prefer a deeper bass sound. But that's to be expected, given the trade off, in its portability. So if it's what you need, for a small venue, garden or house party I have given a 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 rating. (this was a trade off, as we've limited storage space in our cupboard) Despite this the unit's still loud enough for members to ask me to turn the volume down, as they can't hear each other talking. Built in speaker LED lights are an added bonus, so all in all a compact all in one solution, for venue of around 140 person capacity. A few people have commented about it's nice appearance / size I'd recommend the two 🎤 🎤 microphone version if using for karaoke

Looks good but poor build quality
I won't be buying anything with the name of a crazy dog in Richmond Park again. It looked like a good piece of kit but was not up to the job. The driver (speaker) is too light to be as loud as they say it is and when turned up it started cutting out. The sound source I used was good so it was without doubt the unit. For a bit more money go to Gear4music and check out their SubZero speakers - no lights but superb and very loud sound. In summary the Fenton Portable PA speaker looks good but sounds awful.

Missing mid-range
For an 800-watt speaker, the sound was slightly underwhelming. I've just unboxed and tested it with my iPhone, Apple music library, and Spotify selections. The deep bass chanting in Phillips Glass's 'Koyaanisqatsi', is almost swallowed and indiscernible. The mid-range is similarly weak. I tried turning down the Bass and turning up the Treble (and volume), still couldn't bring up the mid-range satisfactorily. I'm going to have a play about with an equaliser to see if I can tease it out. On the plus side, voice via the mic seems reasonable and good and clear enough for speeches. The portability is practical, and the lights are fun. However, I would rather have a better-sounding speaker minus the lights and wheels for the price.
