This XCBYT set of magnetic car window shades is a great accessory for privacy and comfort while driving or camping. The set includes 4 pieces that completely block out sunlight, keeping the interior cool and providing full privacy. The magnetic design makes them easy to attach and remove, without leaving marks or damaging the car. They are especially useful for long trips, nursing, or resting in the car, as they block 100% of light. The material feels durable and fits most car windows well. Overall, it’s a practical and effective solution for sun protection and privacy on the road.

This product is advertised as universal with the clause that it may not fit every vehicle. For my Honda Pilot it covers a vast majority of the windows but there are slight gaps (pictured). When I first put it on the driver window there was a fairly big gap, but the magnets are slightly adjustableby sliding them inside the fabric which allowed me to minimize the gaps. The bottom of the shades do not have magnets. Since I really wanted these for the front windows, I did not verify the back window dimensions prior to ordering. They are slightly smaller than my windows and the magnets cannot be adjusted perfectly to the edges due to the plastic pieces on the car. The material is very thin, so I am mildly concerned about the longevity of it. I am happy with the sunshades and would purchase again.

These work to completely block light at rest stops, or used as sunshades for parking.Completely opaque, and not suitable for driving.The thin fabric allows these shades to be stored almost anywhere in your car.These hang from enclosed magnets onto the steel inside frame of each car door.Store seperately: When unfolding, the magnets can stick together, making these difficult to spread out.The magnets should be attached with care, because some internal trim paint of your car door can be scratched by them.

The goods:These shades are made of a nylon type material with a foil face that is similar to that used on a lot of folding front windshield shades. The pack of 4 consists of 2 tapered shades for use in the front windows and 2 square shades for the back. Each one is held in place by small bar magnets sewn into the hem (top and sides). The material is completely opaque.The lowdown:The material is pretty sturdy. The nylon backing has held up well, as has the foil face. The magnets are strong enough to hold the shades securely in place. The front shades are tapered well to fit the curve of my car's front windows. My car is a compact, but there is enough extra that hangs down past the window that larger cars should be covered pretty well, too. My car has significantly curved rear windows, but the squarish rear panels still fit reasonably well and the magnets hold it in place nonetheless. These panels block the sun completely, but of course, if your car is left out in the sun long enough, it's going going to get hot. No shades will stop that. But they do block the sun effectively.The warnings:The shades are held on by magnets, so check to see if your car's interior window frames are metal. Some cars have plastic trim covering the window frames, so this could be an issue for those. Test your frames with a magnet to see if it sticks if you're not sure. If your car's rear windows are curvy like mine, the square rear panels will stick, but you might have to fold a corner. They do fit, though.The bottom line:Great shades. They fit well, they stick securely and they pretty much do what you'd expect them to do. The panels should be big enough even for larger cars, and also fit small cars without a problem. Good coverage on the window. Fully opaque. If they fit my car's weird windows, they should fit yours. Good stuff.

At first, I love everything about these shades. Living in Arizona, I use them every day. I loved the size, shape, and ease of use. From the outside they make my car just look like I have really dark windows. They cool off the car a lot when paired with a windshield cover. You can even lower the windows a little or a lot with them in use. I use them on a SUV and I’m sad that it didn’t come with a cover for the window on the hatchback. I need something there. The only real con is that with repeated use the magnets have slid around the edging leaving some areas with no magnets and this means it doesn’t attach. Many of the magnets have broken through the material and remain around the frame of the window after I remove the shade. I can sew so I’m going to experiment with reinforcing the edge band. I would give 5* and buy a set for every car I own if the quality was just a little better.

They work pretty well and the magnets are pretty strong. They fit my windows fairly well but rear ones are a little too big for my rear door windows. My car sits in direct sun all day and gets wicked hot in the summer. These won’t keep the heat out completely but at least it keeps my seat from feeling like I’m sitting on a hot plate. Time will tell how they hold up. I previously had a different brand that eventually ripped and the magnets started falling out.

These blackout curtains really deliver; blocking sunlight, regulating room temperature, and even reducing outside noise. They’re heavy, but the results are fantastic: better sleep, cooler car, and a cleaner look. Absolutely 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. 2023 - 2025 Lexus RX350. Not a perfect fit, but it provides for a good coverage. It significantly lowers the internal temp of the vehicle. Great magnets that attaches to the door frame. Easy fold for storage. I wish the fit would be better. If you are looking for a cost-effective solution, this will work.
