Basic fence post
It's a basic fence post. Great for keeping pets out of the garden. Make sure to drive it in at least so the wide part is buried and it will hold well. I prefer the cast iron ones that are heavier and stronger, but these work for lighter duty applications.

Good deal
I received this from the Amazon Vine program and am leaving my review voluntarily.Set of 5. Heavy. Worked perfect to mark out a dividing line between neighbors. Less expensive then the box store.

A poor deal
These U channel T posts are made of 14 gauge steel, which means to those of us who are not fencers, farmers, civil engineers etc. that they are not anywhere close to as sturdy as the T posts gotten from the nearest big box stores. When pounded into the ground with a post driver, they perform the same basic functions as any T post their length will, but the paint is not as high quality and they are not going to take the same level of abuse. But for budget value T posts, they do what would be expected of a budget product.Except the budget part. Where is the budget pricing? Getting a vastly superior T post to this in person from Tractor Supply, Lowes, etc would be simple, and I could afford more T posts than 5. I could probably get over 15 of them for less than the 46 dollars being charged for five of these T posts. The only reason this affront to pricing doesn't get a lower rating from me is these T posts otherwise are decent products. They just need to have pricing that is in touch with the market it is trying to reach.

Do NOT have pointed ends.
I use posts like this in my garden to shore up tomato cages, tall bushes, and especially to keep a row of tall flowers (like gladiolas) from falling forward by stringing taut twine between two of them. My garden soil has more than it's share of stones, so I was attracted to them because of their pointed ends. They are well made, heavy duty, and the finish looks like it will last a long time. They are also more expensive than any similar product I've seen on Amazon or in my local farm store, but I thought the pointed ends might be worth it.But, (as you can see) they do not have pointed ends as shown in the photos and stated in the text. I don't know if this was due to them shipping the wrong product (unlikely), incompetence, or just plain deceptive advertising.Doesn't matter. They have flat ends, just like other posts, and that makes them really overpriced.

No pointed bottom
There is nothing special about these metal fence posts to justify paying double or triple the price compared to what you can locally buy from a big box store. The metal quality is no heavy duty and much softer and thinner than any of my other metal fence posts. Also they falsely advertise these posts like the ones that would have pointed bottoms, but they do not have any of that. I would not recommend this set.

Standing Guard: A Review of BRRIY's Heavy-Duty Metal Fence Posts
Ah, puppy parenthood! My rambunctious one-year-old, Megalodon, wreaked havoc on our lawn last year. Replanting was essential, but keeping the furry menace at bay was even more crucial. Enter the flimsy fence posts that came with the temporary mesh fencing. One look at these lightweight contraptions, and I knew they'd snap under the playful (read: destructive) weight of The Meg and her older canine companion, Penny. That's when I stumbled upon BRRIY's Heavy-Duty Metal Fence Posts – a game changer for our backyard.Forget those flimsy things! These BRRIY posts are built like tanks. Their sturdy construction allowed me to space them strategically – every 10 feet instead of the measly 3 feet required by the cheap option. Installation, while requiring some muscle, was incredibly satisfying. Out went my measly 2-pound sledgehammer – a relic compared to the perfect fit of my 12-pound post driver. The anchor plate design is pure genius. Once driven deep enough, it ensures the posts stand firm, without a hint of twisting. The built-in tabs are a dream – they effortlessly grip the fence panels while I secure them with zip ties (which also conveniently catch on the tabs). This is a product built to last, a one-time investment for years of reliable fencing. Now, a quick heads-up – these posts are buried a foot deep, leaving you with roughly 3 feet of usable height. Plan accordingly! For me, this was perfect, but it's worth considering for taller fencing needs.Overall, BRRIY's Heavy-Duty Metal Fence Posts score a resounding 5 stars. They're robust, easy to install (with a little muscle power), and boast a clever design that ensures stability and efficient panel attachment. Whether you're keeping playful pups at bay or protecting a prized garden, these posts are a fantastic solution. So, invest in quality, say goodbye to flimsy alternatives, and watch your fence stand strong for years to come!

solid, but a little pricey
These posts are very sturdy, and we like the green color. There's nothing wrong with the posts themselves. However, you can get 5 fence posts the same size for a cheaper price at Home Depot. This is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
