Makes a great home server.
While I did have a little trouble setting it up, I did get it working. Everything works very well. I am using it with nextcloud as a local family backup. It runs 24x7 without any kind of issue. (I was going to buy this directly from the source, but the tariffs would have been as much as the board.)

good NAS and specific server solution.
Good Item, not just for home use. After certain checking up, I'm thinking of getting another one for additional tasks, as an email server, and more NAS storage. Also, with working out on Linux and VPN services, it is possible to set up access from anywhere without having a static IP from an Internet Service Provider, ISP, and many other solutions, choices if to take the time for research and mind. One solution if to take adapters for PCIE, which makes it possible to connect multiple drives as SATA. Other... Perfect customer service at WayPonDEV store, fast reply with different variants of solutions.

Worst NAS experience ever.
Worst experience of my life. If you look at my reviews I’m not generally super critical however this was the worst purchase I ever made, over the span of six months of owning this board it ate through four SSDs. Have you ever tried to claim even just one warranty on a SSD? It’s a terrible and long experience which requires you to jump through hoops to get them to honor it. I would shut the unit off and the drive would corrupt. Do software updates, corruption. Each drive would last about 1-2 months before they would completely become bricked. I still have this junk unit sitting in my server panel unplugged and forever to just sit there and collect dust and ended up purchasing a UGREEN 4800 Plus which has been absolutely amazing. No corrupted drives, no issues, it just works. I took two of my SSDs and installed them as cache drives and the two others are just spares / back ups. Setting up the drive was a little nutty and if you have no idea how to use Linux don’t let this board be the time to learn it, and before some random nerd is like “your drives corrupted because you don’t know what you’re doing” my desktop and laptop both run Linux, UGREEN uses a custom Linux os and never have any issues. It’s not a Linux issue I personally believe it was a power management issue. Overall it was a long and tiring experience and a complete waste of money.

Worked perfect out of the box
Plugged it in, no need to load memory stick, OS preloaded (OpenmediaVault). Came up with an IP and username and password to use. I was up and running in no time with a smb / cifs share. Will put it through the paces when more drives arrive. So far so good.

GOOD DIY NAS
Got it with Openmediavault pre-installed. It has saved a lot of time for me. Though need to test the data transfer speed across 1 gig network with Gen3 nvme installed.

TF Card slot broken right out of the box.
Complete and total waste of money, the TF card slot's cover was missing from the board, making it so I cannot actually insert a TF card. That wouldn't be such a massive a problem if YOU COULD SIMPLY INSTALL THE OS WITH A USB DRIVE! But since you HAVE to use the TF card slot to install the operating system, the entire board was completely un-usable, with such a tiny defect the entire machine was essentially bricked. Unbelievable. It's impossible to set this device up if you can't insert a TF / MicroSD card, and because the device was missing the cover for the TF slot it was impossible to actually set up or use the device at all. Extremely disappointed, wasted a LOT of time on this.
