Duuuuuuude very nice laptop
Doing great so far, i obviously had to upgrade the ram/memory whatever you wanna call it lol i play rust and it functions well graphics are amazing to me, price is decent for a starter laptop for gaming easy to navigate its actually a really impressive pc, but upgrade the memory capacity and its even better, color is great keyboard lights are cool idk what else to say im old so dont take much to impress me with new tech but id recommend this pc to any one its fast as heck and quite battery is still lacking but i think thats most laptops lol but overall i really dig it and if you know rust then you know it dont take much to crash your pc so thats a huge win for this pc i put in 2 16gb memory sticks for 36 gb it runs flawlessly. Happy gaming!

We love this laptop!
I bought this for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. She had asked for a laptop that could handle certain games (SIMS, Roblox, Fortnite, etc). I knew nothing about buying a gaming laptop. So I looked at so many different ones, and chose this one because based on my research and also on the reviews, it seemed like others had success with the games I mentioned on this laptop. Also it wasn't as expensive as most of the others I considered. My daughter loves this laptop!! She plays games with her brother (he plays on the PS5) and she tells me her laptop is "faster" than his PS5. I have 4 kids and a puppy, and this laptop has been through it- it is tough as nails (or at least has been for us). She has nothing negative to say about it, quite amazing for a 12 year old 😁 I would 100% buy this again- it is better than I imagined!

I absolutely love my laptop.
After using my laptop for a few months, I can say that this laptop is a great quality choice for gaming. It runs great for most games, loads fast, has multiple ways of monitoring performance, and is overall an amazing choice if you’re on a bit of a budget for a PC gaming. It’s resistant to overheating due to the multiple fans in the system which will turn on automatically when it needs to, but you can also adjust the mode of the fans with just a button. The sound quality is like any other laptop, but just a bit better.Additionally, as a college student, I’m always on my laptop for school work/documents/videos, and I never have any issues using my laptop for everyday tasks like writing papers/e-mails. It runs great and almost never lags, even with all the different apps and things I have downloaded.Overall, I 100% recommend if you’re looking for a laptop to get into gaming with and it’s in your budget!

A good entry-level gaming laptop with some compromises
I purchased this laptop almost a year ago and have used it more or less daily since it arrived. It does all the things you would expect a laptop to do. It is a little light on the RAM, but that's easily upgradeable, and I upgraded mine from 8 GB to 16 GB, which I would say is the minimum for any serious gaming these days.As this is a budget gaming laptop, the compromises had to come in somewhere. Those compromises are mainly the battery life and build quality. This is not a laptop that can go all day. Far from it. The battery will give you two hours of internet browsing at best and less than an hour if you want to try gaming on the battery. That in itself is not a major problem for me. I mostly use this as a desktop replacement when I'm away on business or the like, but if you plan to use it for note taking in class or something similar, pick something with a better battery life.As long as its plugged in, it's a good little machine. It's fast and quiet. That being said, I have my doubts about whether this could survive a drop from being carried without exploding into a million pieces. The plastic feels a little flimsy, so my advice is... don't drop it? I guess? Nobody ever plans to do that. It's also worth mentioning that there are transparent keys on the keyboard. If you shed hair or dust, that's going to be visible under the keys. Getting a cover for the keyboard might be a good idea if this bothers you.All of the compromises I've mentioned are reasonable for the price. I can play Helldivers 2 on low, and Deep Rock Galactic on medium, just to give you an idea of the performance. This thing won't play Elden Ring on high, but it can play most older games without breaking a sweat.

Nothing but issues!
I bought this about a year ago for my son for his birthday. He wanted it for gta, Fortnite, farming sim etc. I know it wasn’t top tier gaming laptop but it’s been nothing but trouble. The sound quit working randomly after just a few weeks. And then came back. Then out of the blue it starting having really low fps. Nothing would work. I did all the trouble shooting to find that the graphics card wasn’t working properly. Sometimes randomly it will. We’ve tried everything. We updated and installed the graphics card updates still nothing. I couldn’t really figure out asus customer care to even see if they’d look at it. The keyboard is terrible, pieces just fall off. Hmdi never worked. It ran extremely hot to the point where it couldn’t be touched. Now all the sudden it’s just black screen. I didn’t know a whole lot about these, still don’t. But my other two kids have HP Victus’s that were a few hundred dollars cheaper and they run everything without issue. They run everything the asus wont. I’ve been reading other reviews and seems like we may have gotten a dud. Now here I am a year later having to buy another gaming laptop/pc.
