In general the A Customs are too bright for my tastes, but this splash sounds great.

A Custom cymbals are a bit expensive but if you have the means, they are the most versatile and best sounding cymbals.

Sounds Great
You are buying the best you cant go wrong with Zildjian over 300 years and still making the best. Now the sound in this cymbal is very sweet, good under tones and fast hitting, very responsive and it is just that a FAST CRASH !!! it stops making sound almost Right after you hit it perfect performance I will be buying more of the same just different sizes..

Great sound and seemingly pretty durable.
This small cymbal affords a great sound and as of yet seems pretty durable. It is hard to say that though because obviously, no drummer uses his splash cymbal very much. I have had three other splashes and by far this one is my favorite.
