As the title… it is British made, not made in the far East and sold by a British company. It is a well made product. Excellent!

Good value safety lamp holder - well made !!
Bought these to replace a worn out lamp holder on a bedside lamp from a well known high street 'up market 'store UK - It is very well made, has a safety feature so that it wont turn on when there is no bulb fitted - the lamp holder is fitted with the standard bayonet cap fitting will take a lamp of up to 60 watts (UK), this version has 10mm internally threaded base which will screw onto a metric externally 10mm threaded boss. Highly recommended !!

Our Laura Ashley table lamp stopped switching effectively. Removed old bulb holder. Replaced with this. Perfect. Works well and just in keeping with the style.

Safety switch feature is more trouble than its worth.
Poor quality and unreliable function. Safety switch feature is a problem and does not keep the lamp on. This must be a known issue because the instructions tell you how to overcome the problem. Unfortunately, the recommended solution (simply to tighten the connections more) didn't work and resulted in the fitting breaking apart. Ended up in the bin. I bought two, and one had the problem while the other seemed to get on with doing its job. The safety switch seems to the the issue, otherwise the fitting is OK.

Lamp Switch
This is a good quality lamp switch which I used to improve upon a wobbly one in a lamp in my lounge. The Bronze colour exactly matches the metal [arts on the lamp.Recommended.

It has a safety mechanism - I guess a rule from some silly EU bureaucrat - and I could not get it to work.
